My first visit to Aceh was a truly unforgettable experience. The warmth and hospitality of the local people were immediately apparent. I was deeply impressed by the resilience and spirit of the community, especially in the face of past challenges.
I was honored to oversee the official handover of Harbour Energy community investment projects to the local government in North Aceh Regency and Lhokseumawe City. This marked a significant milestone in our journey to empower and support these communities.
Through our community investment program, we aim to made a tangible impact on local communities by:
- Empowering the Future: Providing scholarships to 23 promising local university students in North Aceh Regency and Lhokseumawe City, helping them achieve their academic goals and contribute to the region's development.
- Fostering Knowledge: Establishing a new library in Nisam Village, North Aceh Regency, providing a valuable resource for education.
- Protecting the Environment: Planting mangrove forests in Puuk, North Aceh Regency, contributing to coastal conservation and biodiversity.
Our commitment to sustainable development and community engagement is unwavering. By investing in education and environmental protection, we aim to create a positive and lasting impact on the communities where we operate.
