Presentation Thoughts ????3 Dec 2024 12:20
Well if I was considering investing and saw that I would trot on I think. I felt more "well we had better do at least one presentation for the unwashed"
Firstly I can’t understand the logic is rebalancing to more oil from the current 60\40 to Gas, Why?
The Argentina seems to have huge potential and economically it’s certainly moving in right direction ( from an awful place) but we are selling very cheaply into local market and need an LNG hub which is mega money. Big bucks needed but may be with it.
Despite her words it sounds like Algeria might have the chop which I always thought was on the cards.
They seem to be looking on big production from organic growth so Andaman and Mexico, Norway & UK. Elizabeth mentioned that Wintershall Dea still supporting the business going forward, I wonder what’s that’s about.
Also I don’t know what the problem was with “Operational Control” but it clearly went wrong with Wintershall Dea and they are very clear they wont be repeating it.
I feel that shareholders we are pretty irrelevant to Harbour , that they are a financial entity that owns oil and gas fields. I still wonder why we were successful with Wintershall Dea transaction, what was the fabled £3.60 about and whats being cooked up by Blair, BASF and Letter One.
Bottom line I think we may have paid too much but this will be sorted in the future as certain people were after the Premier acquisition. Who knows?
All in can’t say I’m impressed with anything I heard and am really living in hope and dividend now more than expectation.
Any thoughts ???
