Shortburner - I got these at ipo stage, i to am, in no rush to sell them, but its just a indication as far as i can see, i am new to this so i am not going to question the old hands, but when i see posts about big buys and it opens lower, it dont look like a positive short term, i am here to learn and pick up info, not to rattle cages.

Hi i am with halifax and purchased from primary bid, you just have to add the account code (starts with a letter)
My take on this, I am new here, but look at this like this, new companies will always spike on the first good news, its not a spike it’s the fact the graphs calibrate to show the highs expanded, I remember looking at arb a few weeks back and looked at the graph and thought that the company had had its moment of glory, until I sat back and realised the graphs are always going to calibrate themselves to the biggest spike in the time duration selected, all the major company’s first days/month of trading would of started with what seems like a spike, when infect it’s the building blocks of a decent company, I look forward to the next spike that makes these 2 on the trend look small.
New to this investing and today was a squeaking moment, but held strong and even topped up
Thank you Pmoran1969

Evening all, I am new to playing with shares and have taken the opportunity to take up the RI, I am amazed by how many people think it’s going to drop on the 29th of Jan due to the new stocks issue, that dilution has already been priced in, its common sense that firstly the stock market would not work in such a way that people would know that a stock Is going to drop as people would not buy, secondly why do you think the only offer RI to people that hold stocks at close of business as this is the only fair way, and for those that don’t understand that the stock has already adjusted, what was the drop for on the 8th Jan if it was not due to adjustment after the announcement.
Hi all I am new here, so a quick introduction, I am new to stocks and shares but thought I would have a dabble and try not to lose the lot, I have about 5 stocks that I have put money into.
Anyway I believe that there is a lot of speculation that MAB are looking to raise money possibly by a rights issue, is this why the price could be going up, as I shareholders generally get a good opportunity to buy cheap shares?
Please don’t rip into me if I am wrong as I say I am new to this so probably got the wrong end of the stick
Let’s hope it carries on going north
Sounds like Roxburyhouse is about to start posting the brochures through his neighbours doors
Cheers for the replys, i am new to this, not after a quick profit but fully commited on my isa allowance so will have to sell some stock to cover the costs, i slung 20K in over a few shares just to try and play the shares, but not doing to well to be fair, hence trying to get some advice, i will leave them in and sell some from another stock to cover the costs of the RI,as not allowed to put any more money in.
Hi, Iam new to this as well, so with the normal shares at 350ish and the new shares at 250ish, is it possible to sell the old shares and reinvest the money in new shares, then if they merge you would make a couple of quid???
