Well put, but I do not see how the IPA has been a main driver in getting SXX off the ground. Yes agreed, this should have been their role but ultimately they have come far short of expectations Given the extra ordinary circumstances of the present day political uncertainty govt should havé stepped in with re-assurance for financiers. As many expected a guarantee to investors for part of the funding subject to the entire funding package being complete. Imo

The PM was pleased to meet with CF in China and feels that this is just the sort of company we need in the north, Given the encouragement for investors due to the formidable Brexit process at present. A big help for companies like SXX Should have been more support here from the govt in my view.

I am surprised at the poor support this govt has provided for SXX. A guarantee once The mine in almost complete and we are pulling out poly. Like saying ; ‘you take all the risk and i’ll Be there when the jobs done’ A guarantee from IPA to financiers at this stage tied into the entire funding package being complete would have spoken volumes to potential investors. Given the mess caused by the govt due to Brexit for investors right now they have shown poor support for this project. Like saying to ICL ‘we will guarantee the investment to part fund re-developing Boulby’ Frankly at that stage in the project with so much risk detatched we would find ourselves with lots of options for debt without IPA’s guarantee. Very poor indeed.

Can’t see any placing happening until April May at least. I would expect news on the debt structure way before the placing happens. Fair to say there will certainly be a placing....

Andywolf I agree, was bad news but it’s not just this stock and with the mess of Brexit going on 3bn quid was never going to be easy. That doesn’t mean there isn’t a way forward There will no doubt be more dilution and a greater cost of debt SP will suffer.

I am really upset with this news, I was really expecting Fiona to see this through. Have to say the many times she said we were on an exciting journey I never heard the bit ‘ you go on ahead, i’ll take the back door’ Lost faith here if my average wasn’t 40%. Above where we are I ‘d be out but for now a keen eye any more nonsense i’m gone.

The 250 is being hammered today...some sharp falls and rises on the way for sure..
