“Tech startups”, I do like the sound of it. Any idea when the company might announce these prospective new acquisitions?

CPI was on my watchlist for a while considering this super low SP, it’s nice to see finally the are changing. Any scalable tech investment at the right time & right price will surely help the company grow significantly considering we are in the era of techs. With the potential H2 2021 worldwide economic recovery, tech companies will exceed the expectations further.

I’ll be a buyer on Monday morning considering the stay around this level.

The discovery was achieved at the SEMZ-11X well located 10km west of Zarif field, the nearest producing field. The well was drilled to a total depth of 5,700 feet and encountered 65 feet of oil pay in the Cretaceous sandstones of the Bahariya and Abu Roash G formations. Testing of the Bahariya resulted in a peak rate of 2,100 barrels of oil per day with no water. Additional uphole pay exists in the Bahariya and Abu Roash G formations that can be added to the production stream in the future."

BPC has shoot up significantly today. One might wonder, with over 4.7 billion shares in issue, they certainly giving holders the opportunity to earn some profit on the back of their drilling. UOG is a different story though, even with 625 million shares it's still jumping around 3p lol

On positive note, my twd also jumped this morning. you win some you lose some as they say.

And that is the funny thing about it! Regardless, the company is consistently generating value beyond their current valuation, its only a matter on time now before it starts rising substantially!

Late reported buy as usual. It looks like seller is getting exhausted. SP will simply fly when the seller is fully out IMHO

I agree with d2b84. RSI is way above over bought territory so a pull back is very likely. It was around £1 few weeks ago so perhaps that should be considered as a safer entry price imo

The SP rocketed over £1 purely on speculation that the tech is the future and everybody would be buying a car with solid state but the reality is that world is not there yet! It will surely take years for the tech to be used properly if at all. Don’t forget, hydrogen fuel is also gearing up with lots of other techs. O&G will still be here for years to come and transition will take time. Overall if u buy new techs, do your research properly and hold it long term if u see value. Otherwise private investors like ourselves will keep losing money in every pump and dump.

It will increase as the market starts digesting all the good news coming out. H2 2020 results will surely show increased revenues compared to H1 2020. With imminent Egypt drilling with 80% CoS, the SP will fly eventually. It just needs the trade volume to increase for the seller to get out which is the only current barrier IMO. The fact is that seller can’t keep the SP down forever, once out the SP will absolutely rocket in my view!

A bit more patience together with some positive news will do the job

Hats off to those who bought below 30p and bagged multiple. It has risen substantially and WILL rise further but there is always a time for everything. IMO, the SP has risen too early too fast without any material news, on the back of pure speculation I suppose, thanks to our famous well known VOX host Justin! He rightly pointed out all the valid points and I agree with him 100% but the market went absolutely crazy and tried to run before it can walk. It will correct and place itself where it should be gradually. Don't get dishearten if you bought over 250p and now in negative as it can rise again but DO NOT jump because of FOMO, it's the worst.

Guess what, Dow just turned positive after erasing 400points loss! Brent is also rising slowly. lol

It seems today was an opportunity to buy which I missed out. If oil goes over $51 tonight then expect this to open over 21p.

Let's see what happens.

Han**** remarks regarding new mutation was to scare people and justify his new tier 4 lockdown measures which has backfired significantly. There are many mutation covid exists as we speak, they haven't been identified yet and they can be anywhere. It was just a scientific find which was really strange for any minister to announce. In my view, it was their tactic to force people to listen but vaccine is gonna wipe it out sooner or later anyway. As usual, market panicked and along came the opportunity to buy more Rolls Royece.

I think market will recover pretty quickly as investors start getting news on Oxford vaccine which is due to be approved within days.

I say buy buy buy, RR is gonna go up soon.

can somebody please find out how much the company will be earning in H2 considering an average oil price say $44 per barrel?

Last interim did mention the following points:
• Group working interest 1H-2020 production averaged 1,975 boepd net*
• Success at the ASH-2 and ES-5 Wells in Egypt increased working interest production from 1,709 boepd on 1st March 2020 to 2,716 boepd on 30th June 2020

and

• Realised oil price of $28.26/bbl

• Cash collections in the four-month period of $3.6m
• Cash operating costs of $4.36/boe
