The problem is that you hear people say that we shall have to learn to live with the virus, however living with the virus does not mean ignoring it and going back to what was perceived normal. Living with the virus mean regular testing, vaccination and precautions such as mask wearing in certain situations.

How can you manage the situation without testing? Let COVID get out of control and the health service shall be on its knees, as will the nation.

B2HS2L, Having checked the accounts for her consultancy, I'd say that she's employed full time for Novacyt.

B2HS2L, We simply don't know, pure speculation. I can see that she resigned from her positions at Oxford Immunotec in March and July of this year. Also, I can see that she has her own consultancy. Does she now have a role within Perkin Elmer....I'd say NO.....the connection is simple.....the connection is that she has worked with David previously.

Perhaps interim because that was the quickest way to get her through the door. Also, would imagine Board approval required for her position to be made permanent, although to be fair there could be a load of reason for her appointment being interim.

One thing is for certain, with these changes at the top, there is no doggy dealing, leaking of price sensitive information and/or share price manipulation.

Novacyt is an honest company, working hard behind the scenes to deliver value, the DHSC dispute is simply unfortunate, however one way or another the issue with the DHSC shall be resolved and the company shall move forward stronger for it....patience is key here!! Diagnostics is a growth industry, with or without COVID and unfortunately the pandemic is far from over. Also, this is AIM and the market knows nothing.

B2HS2L, I'd say no connection between the two companies, the connection is simple, it is David Allmond, they have worked together previously. She's been brought in by David as part of a Strategic Review, another mind, a fresh approach...perhaps?

Before her career in law, Ms. Kidd spent nearly 15 years as a research and development scientist.

Therefore it is David that has hired Janet Kidd, clearly DA has hit the ground running and therefore likely much going on behind the scenes.

Well I'm not sure, perhaps Interim as she was appointed before the arrival of DA, not uncommon for Interim positions to become permanent. Also, interesting to note that her previous company was subject to a take over earlier this year.

Nick's replacement at Novacyt is Janet Kidd, although her title is Interim General Counsel, therefore perhaps they have someone else lined up?

Perhaps the DHSC dispute has been sorted, just that the company is prevented from informing the market at this time due to a specific clause within the agreement. Perfectly possible and a reason why the directors are prevented from buying shares.
