This OM award was always a complication on the route to first oil. Not the outcome we wanted, or most thought we had, but it’s now settled. Insurance will be paid and the company can adjust and then move forward.

I’ve , to me, a large shareholding, I can’t possibly sell it today, so I’ll consider what was my plan anyway, that in a medium to longer term view this should all work out.

I wasn’t really expecting FID or OM until after summer anyway tbh, and frankly, given the time it has taken to get to this point, in comparison, things are flying along.

It’s June…FID in H2… yeah ok…*shrugs…

Totally agree with Matt on this, as a LTH I’m still not sure as to when I tell the wife I own any of these shares, never mind how many!!!

It’s the best investment I’ve ever had for sure, but being a heavy RKH shareholder was not always a sensible thing to be…

To make the point, I have shares I bought at around £3.50 and als at £0.05…

Just added 25k at 36.1p, didn’t really intend on buying more but I cashed out, at a small loss, of an S&P 500 ETF a couple of weeks ago and regretted not buying some when it was in the 30s then.

Thank goodness I cashed out of the S&P 500 though, what a mess.

China/Hong king down over 10%, Nikkei down 7.5%, FTSE down over 6…LSE based S&P 500 ETF down over 6%…

Borders up 1.5% 😁….🤷‍♂️

Interesting to read folk’s take on where this goes from now, hopefully this train will keep chugging along.

I’m fortunate to be deep into the territory I’ve thought of for years but never ‘really’ thought I’d see, a profit. This has been a pipe dream, a pretence in my head that if I kept with this it ‘might all work out in the end’ that I’ve been involved with for way way too long. This isn’t the end, far from it, and whilst I brace myself for the inevitable ups and downs ahead of us, I am also taking a moment to enjoy, for a period of time anyway, finally being right.

I hope all those who are finally recouping losses or still have to, get their money back and more.

I noticed Paul’s statement about 42p being a long-standing resistance point and I zoomed out on my graph, something I’ve not done in a while, and was stunned to find that the last time RKH was at this level was 2018 and before that 2012…whoa…

Anyone got any update on the delivery of the FPSO to the GoM or GoA..?

The whole naming of the gulf thing reminds me of the Arabian / Persian Gulf thing. Aramco used to get upset if Persian was mentioned in any reports and the Iranians if Arabian was used…when I say upset, I mean they’d ask for reports to be re-issued and your invoice would only get accepted at the end of the month that the revision was issued…so, minimum another 30 days…

Honestly, the U.K. government is going to lawyer itself into dust.

Thanks @Spacehoppa and @JEBR for tracking this, I’m not on here enough to gather this up and to reply to anyone about if it comes up in the chat.

My prediction is, so far, notably an outlier…I expected it to be so, but I also note the share price has doubled in the last 5-6 weeks. So, time will tell, anything north of a pound and this is getting very interesting for me.

2024 will hopefully be remembered fondly as the tipping point for RKH but time will tell. My prediction, for end of year 2024, based on OM and FID (I have to add!!), of a £1 share price woefully off the mark.

But what for 2025? Well, after some thought I have two predictions.

After OM and FID £1

End of year 2025 £1.50.

So, where do you guys think it will be..?? Extra points for unreasonable levels of over confidence to cheer us all up..!

How quickly does an entity need to report it owns a significant % of the company? Could a significant position be built over a few weeks and shareholders only find out afterwards?

Thanks for digging the list out, be interesting to see where we are once OM and FID drops, we are 20p on neither of those things so it bodes well. We had folks saying post FOD would be 20p recently.

A low 20s would be fine end of the year for me, I just hope we don’t slide back. On days when the volume is down a bit the price does not completely crater like it used to. Well, so far..!

Anyone got the list of the end of year valuations? It’s the 11th of December and all of a sudden it has all become a lot more interesting…I doubt we will see my £1 guess though (based on OM and FID coming in to be fair).

Be good if the RKH share price rise and story appear in a few articles this weekend.

I recall Sam, or one of the RKH Directors, being lined up for an interview with Malky…? It would be a very good thing if some interviews and media was being done by the company.

Any chart readers out there? I noted that 19p -20p was where the price sat for a while on the way down. Would this be a sticking point on the way up?

Currently on week 8 of an offshore trip, one more to go, and I’m around 0.5p away from break even.

This retirement plan might work out after all…
