... hope? My major concern from RNS is summarized in these 2 statements by AWebb "... delays in product development and delivery and an extensive cost structure already in place." - this would imply: NO PRODUCT YET! "...arranging and joining a presentation of our products..." - This is worrying on so many levels. JUST ONE, ONE PRESENTATION? REALLY? "Over a period of 40 years, I have accrued a wealth of experience and built a strategic network of contacts within the UK and overseas" - and that has resulted in the ability of facilitating JUST ONE PRESENTATION. "a significant cost cutting exercise of the BOS business. It was not an easy exercise but was inevitable and it was very sad to see loyal BOS team members unpaid and in a lot of cases laid off." - This may well mean even more difficulties in either developing or advertising the product. So, that is all worrying. AW hasn't been around for long, and of course there have been conflicts in AW's vs MT's views for best direction to take. But, is MT return a good thing. Maybe not after all. I really don't have a strong opinion, seems bad bad now. Maybe best AW stays on board and new investors are taken on board, limiting MT ability to interfere further.
That is indeed one very worrying flag. I'm preparing to say goodbye to my investment, though I still hope all the "if" and "when" get sorted!!!!
oversold with such a statement - isnt it?
"want to" not "won't to" damn self-correction
BigErn, mejulie, I'm going to stay in, simply cause I won't to keep my 84% loss a paper loss for as long as it can be that. I'd like to share your view, and up til August I was positively biased on BOS. But since August I have only received negative vibes from reading through the events. Hopefully I'm proved wrong long term. Maybe MT has left cause there's nothing else to be done in BOS other than capitalising with contracts. Hence, he may have decided leading CD - to become main sales channel for BOS and to deliver transversal revenue through BOS shareholding in CD - was actually the best investment of his efforts, from which he would benefit twice, via CD direct return and via BOS indirect return. If this is what's going on then we may be lucky in due time. GLA
Guys, there's no point in discussing ramping and deramping. Anyone here is free to post their comments and views. But, if I say "this is going to hit 50p, sure, within 6 months", and I do this w/o supporting FACTS, and Mr X goes on investing because of this comment, can I be blamed responsible for Mr X loss or acclaimed source of Mr X success? Come on, surely not. I consider myself the only one responsible for my loss on BOS. Not anyone having expressed dreams of huge returns on nothing else than speculation rather than facts.
See, there is a real market for the product they claimed having. The issue here is not the addressable market, is BOS not having the substance to address even scraps of that market
I now agree. Have had to swallow Cloudtag in the past too.
I posted a few days ago about concerns I had RE their costs and productivity Check linkedin - of BOS employees on linkedin barely 2 are in engineering and about 10 are directors of something I'm only really really angry to myself for not having dig deeper in substance sooner
Yes - those do only show the title of the patents. And, in honesty, there's loads of similar patents approved for same system and method, in USA especially. Now, without checking the content of the patents it is difficult to know how much on implementation vs idea they focus and how much they diversify vs already existing. Only a full overview would clarify why application has only been made in Australia. Maybe cause that is the only market where a similar patent does not yet exist. That of course also means: the patents only protect BOS from their idea being sold on AUS ground by others - not anywhere else around the world. Again, I see limited value in this, but better than the nothing we are being given since early September.
Has anyone managed to access the patents awarded to BOS? I have tried all google ways. No chance to locate them. I'd like to verify how much implementation oriented or idea oriented the patents are. This will help assessing whether we're dealing with product facts or product rumours.
Update on your ongoing selection please.
The MMs? That's not what's happening. There are no buyers willing to give you profit. And that's very likely for the same reason I don't want to top up. I have no confidence left in BOS at this point. We haven't had any sensible nor product relevant update. Only useless noise about very unclear moves, which if anything are making confidence vanish faster since impossible to understand what's going on. Not a single update on product dev progress or commercial interest. And we have no MD yet. Hence the question: who would buy at a SP that would give us profit?
give us at least a smoke signal. This is the most frustrating investment I have ever been into.
Almost 2 months gone... no news at all... AIM Release 11 September 2017 ... BOS will now commence a process of identifying and appointing a replacement Managing Director and will provide updates in due course. ...
They say the owners of CD - not sure who they are - MT partially is, isn't he? Haven't followed the numbers in details though and no time to pull from RNS now...
oh yes, back then
when did BOS go over 20?
The lack of any heavy weight ramping argument by any poster says it all. Not much confidence showed on this board. Wonder why. But no, it's just that I'm the only delusional one here and the only one dealing with loss here.
