Don't the offtakers tend to carry out their own testing on samples as well? For me the DFC is the elephant in the room, if we get offtakers from some of the chinese firms then I struggle to see how they fit into the picture

Been thinking about this as well, maybe one of the chinese firms showing interest step in and fund the other half of the DCS? Not sure how it would all work out in practice though

Fair questions, this is from the recent RNS:

The net proceeds of the Placing will be used to maintain momentum on the Definitive Feasibility Study ("DFS") work, which has been underway since start of 2023, and is managed by leading firm CPC Engineering.

The Company recently announced it had passed the key screening hurdles by the Development Finance Corporation ("DFC") regarding a US$4.5M Technical Assistance Grant ("TAG") to fund 50% of the DFS. The Company expects to complete the process of obtaining the TAG with DFC over the coming weeks and then be able to draw down funds for the DFS work.

So with matched funding (as an example scenario) that gives us 1.2 out of the 5 needed. If that takes us all the way to met test results then perhaps no dilution will be required. But how far that will get us is unclear and where the rest is coming from I agree is also unknown. I still think on the asset alone BRES should have a market cap closer to 30m/approx 15p per share

Plus our share float is only around 200m currently, Mike has done a superb job keeping dilution to a minimum up until this point

Maybe a JV on the back of met test results? That's a while away though, the recent raise Mike said will give enough to kickstart the DFS once DFC funding is confirmed as the DFC money will come in tranches. Otherwise we need to raise again but tbh I'm not that fussed, with the US and China already sniffing around I'm 95% sure this either gets bought out or we go all the way to production - either one will result in a SP many multiples than what it is today so I'll just sit and wait in the meantime

Big volume today, some funding news next week would really send this flying....

BRES expecting funding news before Xmas (at project level so no share dilution), most exciting AIM graphite play for me - 14m market cap with PFS done, 21 year mining license, offtake interest from China, huge resource, low share float.....

Insanely good results, then totally unsurprising to see a big selloff after open this morning. At least we will see value on the aus side, AIM is so so bad for mining stocks in general

Agree, the mining are nice add ons but we really need some revenue generation from the plants. Still confident in the medium/long term outlook here but all in all been a disapointing year (almost) since IPO

I'm on degiro and my whole allocation of shares are showing sold and then rebought at 39.8 this morning, v strange

All sounds good on the DFS front, although probably couldn't have picked a worse day for an RNS given the absolute state of the UK market right now

Doubled my holding today, still down significantly but the fact this will be revenue generating soon gives me a lot of confidence, should be a comfortable 2-3 bagger at least from here by the end of next year

People seem to be in a rush around here. Not expecting to see the value I would consider selling at for at least 2 years but more than happy to wait. Mining licenses in place, big institutional investors on board, big predicted graphite supply deficit, unless anything drastic changes with BRES I won't be going anywhere

Unfortunately this company has fallen apart since a promising early start, plants pushed to H2 as a side note in the financial results with no further explanation (as well as going radio silent on the comma front) management (esp Alex) uninspiring and unimpressive in their communications, now the finance director has cleared off after a month. TM1 <5% of my portfolio but considering selling at a 30% loss as struggling to see anything that will turn this around in the next 2 months. Battery recycling has great potential but don't think TM1 are gonna be the company to exploit it, especially when looking beyond the UK

Agree, like the potential of the company and clearly a hot sector, but been unimpressed with some of their decisions and lack of comms recently

Think it's about time we heard an update on the second (lithium focused) factory, was supposed to be online and operational this month but all gone quiet on that front

Horrible market conditions at the moment but good to see a steady newsflow, hope they can get the litium ion plant open ASAP

Only negative for me was the extra 20m shares issues considering we already have well over a billion ... market doesn't seem to mind too much though and think we can expect steady newflow over the coming months with both the mining + recycling
