Delays are annoying but the value addition we should see here will be worth it. Also there are no funding concerns up to DFS completion which I'm still confident will arrive this year, maybe even Q3 if the stars align. With drilling done it's just down to getting the assays and defining the new JORC resource

It had the same reaction as many other CRMA approved projects - big spike and then right back to where it was. EU needs to rapidly mobilise and create momentum, something it has never really shown an ability to do. GROC dont even have a PFS and we are somewhere around 3 months from a full DFS with full offtakes already in place for phase 1. BRES is a much better prospect

BRES didn't apply by all accounts. Overall Orom Cross is a far more financially viable project and way closer to production. Good luck to GROC but I know where I'd rather have my money right now

Pretty ironic seeing LW in here defending BRES against outlandish timeline projections haha. If Mike wanted to issue a DFS for phase 1 only he could have done so months ago, existing JORC has plenty for that level of production. Delays are down to a) integrating the downstream SPG strategy and b) drilling at the request of the DFC to prove up additional resources for massively expanded production in phases 2/3/4 where the big money is

Pros - DFC money incoming which means fully funded for 2025, UK involvement via offtakes and possible government funding for phase 1

Cons - production before end of 2026 so another slight timeline push.

However overall hugely positive, funding has clearly been holding this back and BRES should now be in a position to complete the DFS and negotiate phase 1 funding arrangements during 2025

BRES is main market LW but otherwise good to see you cross over from the dark side, should be rewarded very nicely from these levels

There was a short lived video on twitter this afternoon (perhaps not authorised for disclosure) showing multiple samples with continuous graphite from surface up to 31m depth. Resource upgrade should be well worth the expense and time and should be the final piece to a barnstorming DFS, I'm expecting an NPV well north of a billion with great margins due to the low cost of production

It's a graphite roundtable with others so doubt we will get any BRES specific updates. As discussed previously the drilling is the last part of the DFS to be plugged in, and with recent raise and 3 drills on site should be all systems go there. No doubt the funding situation has caused some strife but still remain v confident that the DFS will deliver outstanding results and expect the AFC to formalise phase 1 funding shortly thereafter. As investors should we follow what the company RNS's (2/3 steps complete, 3 drills spinning to complete step 3 as per the update this week) or some waffle from you? Still 3 months until end of H1, plenty of time to wrap everything up as planned considering drilling is the final piece of the DFS puzzle

Zinger if you think having the full backing of the govt is floof then you are an idiot, numerous promising projects fall at this hurdle and BRES literally has everything in place in that regard (including mining license and other relevant permits)

the jewel in the crown is the spg, this is the crucial part that western markets are in dire need to source from ex-china. personal opinion is that the us won't be that ****d with what bres does with the large flake which will be 50-55% of the final basket
