Well on the assumption the big sells were FH, we probably wont hear anything more from them as once they went below 5% that was their obligation to report over.

Would be nice to know if anyone has built a decent position from the buys though.....

This was obviously the price region (say 1.65 - 1.75) in which a massive trade of shares could be undertaken without absolutely cratering the price even further.

Federated will have had their reasons for exiting, but the fact is buyers have been found for their stake so all we can do now is hunker down and see who was right.

Hopefully any good news from now on wont just be lost into a massive seller overhang - PM over to you....

Also the problem is, we only know Fed went below 5% on 05.04.25. Thats (very) approximately 240m shares and im not sure weve seen sufficient volume since then to say they are cleared.

Certainly been some large quantity AT-based dumping since midday, which everyome will assume is Fed continuing to exit.

However as you say, someone is picking up the sells with a result the share price has surprisingly held steady

I would guess that this has been the reason for recent share price declines - ie forward selling of the warrant shares

Hopefully this is now finished and the company gets an extra £115k. Some people will moan about it, but the fact is, these warrants were a known possibility

At a guess Id say that late 75k was the reason it went to NT to buy later on in the day....order filling?

Well it would seem that our shorters can just sit back, snuff out any upward momentum, then wait for the oil price to resume its path lower.

What can HBR do to counter this and how long must us poor saps wait?

Shortly followed by 5 x 10k sells you can see why this has fallen...on a good day in the markets as well

Im not sufficiently clued up on shorting to know whether bonds can be used as collateral against a short position in shares. I would have thought thaat as the bonds arent directly convertible the answer would be no, but honestly I am not sure

If the bonds arent useable, the shorts would have to be covered using shares borrowed from someone else....ie the traditional way

You would think it would be a good day, but so far it cant even hold its opening 6.5p gain

Methinks it is firmly in the grips of the shorting crews.....they really dont need to do much at the current time to get this moving lower

At this stage, ORCA isnt a traders share, its one to stick in a SIPP or such like and check every now and then

Wide spreads and thin trading means getting in and out has to be timed carefully imho

You may be right, but I stand by my comment that the 1.9p close was only caused by 1 trade in a pre-bank holiday closing auction

I would be delighted if this has bottomed but I think we would need a massively stronger signal than this

It was only up 17% because the spread widened right out in the last 5 mins (easter hols i presume), and someone hit the offer price in the closing auction with a truly massive 80k trade

I truly want this share much higher but jeez come on
