Stew, i believe that an appeal is lodged towards the end of aug against the decision in favour of gail . I have checked on delhi high court , "case history" and it is noted that Focus have now become the "appellant" against gail , Appellant being the person appealing . This is my understanding of the evidence , others may disagree , happy to exchange views .

My take on the order is that Focus were given a choice to extend the make-up period till all make-up gas has been supplied , OR, deposit the security into the court for the arbitration hearing . So it is possible they have decided to carry on delivering gas and therefore do not need to pay the security into court . I guess we wait and see what happens next week . cheers, going pub , NG.

I don't believe anything is going to happen till gail are satisfied that they have received what they think they paid for . Gail is a state owned company and no doubt swings some weight . The contract extension has to be mutually approved , by the indian government and indus gas . Gail are looking at taking control of the power plant and i don't believe focus energy are not involved with the discussions along with the rajasthan government . That said , business in india is painfully slow compared to what we are used to in the west, so frustrating as it is, i have no choice but to hold and wait .

I would not call it a sell off , maybe someone needs some cash for the bank holiday , i know i do , lol .

KB, i am certainly no tech guru , i have a chromebook and have been searching for results to the arbitration for months . This is the first time i have had different results saying something other than the interim measure from 7th jan about the security being judged against focus . I cannot vouch for anything on ai , just sharing what i have seen . cheers .

This may mean that the results are being kept confidential . I believe this company is poised for expansion as soon as the PSC is extended , but this is india . I wonder if Indus should take the indian government to court to advance the contract ? .
