At the beginning of March, our shareholder UGC and their counterparty Regions filed TR1 disclosures regarding the former's intent to sell its 29% stake in Petropavlovsk to the latter. Apparently that transaction did not close as both have now filed TR1s to that effect.

The transaction was taking place at the shareholder level. Petropavlovsk was itself not involved so we don’t have insight as to why it was not completed. However, the result is that UGC was and remains the holder of that 29% stake.

Before we had tracker funds etc holding a decent wedge of voting rights but now it’s just private investors so if it’s a reasonable offer then he’ll get it passed through

Can’t see him paying 28p when it’s trading at 3p ish, surely he can make an offer and see what gets voted through. Even 8-10p is a steal for him and will defo get voted through if he’s got the backing

Anything over 2.5p and I’m ok, I would expect it to be around 500 mill mcap price.
