My investment strategy is usually moderate to high risk, medium to long term. Low hanging fruit is always a bonus!

Not even with my gamblers head on, could I make a bull case for this. I'm hoping that one presents itself eventually, but I suspect that PE will take this for peanuts long before any value arises.

Why has PLT been hidden away, under the guise of being potentially for sale? How much is it really worth?

I'm here because I've researched this company in depth with a view to investing. Like many others here, I don't like what I see so will remain on the sidelines until such time a case for investment is presented. I don't forsee that happening any time soon though.

What was your break even price Bfd? Do you have any other investments? I do hope the tide eventually turns for you, maybe your dependents might see a return to 400p sometime in a few decades, if of course complete collapse can be avoided.

Seriously 🤣🤣 All jokes aside (of which there are many)... I have no doubt that 'Dandy Dan' is doing his best with everything that he has got. You are correct in that this is a multi year turnaround, I wholly agree. My guess is that it'll take about 5 years before any meaningful cash begins being generated. However it will take multi millions and multi more millions to support that journey, of which they just don't have and can't generate.

The balance sheet is dire. No cash. No assets likely to generate substantial cash. No magic beans.

Therefore the only "hope" is that 'Dandy Dan' can somehow perform miracles.... He may be good, but I'm doubtful.

Due to the fact that we have p1$$ed all our capital up the wall and have nothing left, we are now adopting a "capital lite" model.

Successful turnarounds take both LOTS of CASH and LOTS of TIME. Thanks to the internal asset stripping of its founders, this company has very little of both.

As someone else eluded to recently, look at what happened to McColls. I fully believed in their path to profitability, their roll out of the Morrisons Daily format was always going to be a winner and still will be. However, shareholders got shafted first, whilst the big boys rose from the ashes. They were solvent, until they weren't.

You really shouldn't be taken in by Carol Kane's £1.3m purchase. The market has rightly seen right through this.

Poor Carol has recently suffered a very expensive divorce, forfeiting millions of Boo shares in the process. Her remaining holding is likely averaging multiples of the current SP. This purchase is nothing more than an attempt to average down, otherwise known as p1$$ing in the wind...

Don't be fooled, rich people can be desperate and foolish too...

My sincere apologies Bfd for the late response. I have what is known as "a life". After a long week, I like to party on Friday & Saturday nights. On my return home though, I need a "come down" . I find that reading your repetitive, mundane nonsense serves that purpose beautifully. So whilst 2am suits me for a catch up, I haven't wasted 16 hours pumping out shyte from my keyboard. You really should consider cutting your losses here and moving on to something more productive!! Even Happy appears to have abandoned ship, if he can do it then I'm sure a man of your calibre can. 😜

Reading this board is painful. In time, many here will wish that they had listened to reason (SCB)

Bfd/pp are so far under water that I suspect even a 5,000% rise from this level won't get him to break even. I feel for them, it's nasty when you back the wrong horse.

Percypig/ilovesushi are just bottom fishers, probably invested about a week's giro thinking they've found the next big thing. I shall chuckle loudly when they lose the lot.

ABSOLUTELY EVERYTHING suggests this company is heavily distressed. IF, and I mean IF there is any money to be made here, it'll be upwards of five years but my gut tells me that BOO will be long buried by then.

People like Ashley, with all the levers at their disposal may well make a few quid out of this, but that is just another good reason to steer clear.

Don't be a mug like Percy/Sushi, buy a scratch card instead. Life is too short for getting trapped in shyte like this.
