Ocado Group plc ("Ocado") notes the recent speculation regarding its Chief Executive Officer succession planning. Ocado confirms that the CEO and the Board continually engage in long-term succession planning and regularly engage with potential candidates.

There is a much bigger picture here. The concern is the density of the vertical cube system and the air flow through the stack. Do some research, Ocado's system is at greater risk than Autostore. You need to understand how and where the fire started and the reasoning behind why it became uncontrollable.

This opens a huge can of worms. Both Ocado & Autostore have gone to great lengths with regard fire protection, yet this fire still completely destroyed the facility. Look at how and why, and what it potentially means going forwards. This is an insurance nightmare at best, critical concept issue at worst.

Medline Industries in Tracy, California. I believe they use an Autostore ASRS. This will likely be bad news for the ASRS industry with potential ramifications, even though the robots are not suspected to be the cause, they likely contributed to the spread.
