Can't imagine that Samsung will not make any move towards a deal until we have a result from the PTAB. If that goes in our favour- fingers crossed- then Samsung or at least its legal team may advise brokering a deal. Or they may simply prolong the ordeal by waiting for a trial, appeals etc. which would extend things well into 2023.

With the PTAB review ten months away, I doubt we'll hear much between now and then since the court action has been stayed.

Is that permitted when discovery is closed?

I believe the general idea is to extend for as long as possible, and that at the end even if they lose it acts as a possible deterrent to others who may be considering such action, and a warning that they had better have the funds to duke it out.

About 5-6p was the lowest it got I think, after the Apple contract, and touched their again at the start of the pandemic when pretty much all shares took a dive.

I’m personally more concerned with extended deadlines. I rechecked my references and the STM contract was due to scale up FY2023 H2 2022, but that seems to now be calendar year 2023, so that could be an additional six to twelve months. The other concern is we once more seem to have our eggs all in one basket. There was some talk of possible display revenue, but no timescale given and details are under NDA’s. I do think the STM contract stands a better chance than previous ventures, but a couple more irons in the fire would be preferable.

I reckon all dates should have twelve months added on. What happens if/when the PTAB reports back, and one or both sides appeal the decision? Further delay.

Also looking at commercial timelines for sensors, it does seem unlikely the sensors will be used in an iphone any time soon, and that the tech is earmarked for AR, which is still a nascent technology and one that may not hit its stride fro some years i the consumer sector.

With the fact that some of the key patents run out in about three or four years, i can see Nanoco being absorbed before then. I will be looking very closely at any strings attached to the cash injection.

Re the suggestion that Nanoco are hinting at self sufficiency at last, i think that may be premature.

Although the STmicro contract appears to be progressing as planned, we're still at Phase two of the contract. However we should know before too long where we stand with projected revenue from that contract as the next phase should kick in towards the end of this year, fingers crossed.

I do quite the contrary. I top up as funds permit. When I first invested in this company mid-twenties would have been seen as an absolute steal. However i appreciate that many will have bought in when the share price was down in the single digits and have taken the opportunity to realise a handsome profit, even at present levels.

Only time will tell if they've been wise or foolish.

The nanostructures are not referring to Quantum dots. A read of the Metalenz technology is well worthwhile, this is significant technology and will transform machine vision. I think it's very likely that QD's will be used with the sensors, but cannot find any reference to them on the Metalenz site. Everything is pointing towards this and Nanoco's tech being use in Apple's forthcoming AR spec's.
