Any idea what the bookies' odds are on CFO announcing the US partnership before Xmas?

It has now been 8 weeks since the CFO said an annoucement on the US partnership would be made within 4 to 6 weeks.

We are less than 30 days from Xmas day now. Realistically people will be sending out their Xmas cards very shortly (if they haven't done it yet).

I think management missed the boat now on this one.

Would you have examples of undervalued stocks they found please?

As bad as that sounds, job losses might be a positive for the share price here as it instills confidence that management has got costs under control.

I think that's the main concern as opposed to their ability to sell stuff.

In the meantime what could really help is the CFO putting out that update on the US partnership he promised to do weeks ago.

CFO delaying the announcement on US partnership not doing share price any favours.

He said 4 - 6 weeks. It's been 7 weeks now.

Reckon he should have said "update some time in this coming quarter" instead.

That's what we hope for, Alnwick.

I wrote to the company about last week but have not had a response.

Yes, concurr with this. It may take some time for s/p to get back to August highs. But from a fundamentals perspective, don't see this stock being a bad bet.

You probably watch the webcast where CFO said they'd be updating the market in 4 - 6 weeks.

Market Makers to blame...

Not sure about this. I'd like to think there were two factors at play here:

1. lack of market liquidity ahead of the 30/10 budget (traders / investors sitting in the sidelines)

2. "normal" seasonality of the stock share price.

Anyway, I reckon bottom could be in, so time to buy is probably now.

With ex-divi next week wonder if MW will continue holding onto their short positions. Will they want to pay dividends?

I had more this afternoon at 92.48p. Based on seasonality over past few years this should be bottoming now. Needless to say there's no guarantedd that what happened in the past will happen this year.
