... the waiting game will drag on until such times we get a new CEO or there is a DHSC settlement of sorts unless there is some skullduggery going on in the background. Nova win hands down on the comms. front and this RNS gives a new slant on the word uninspiring but we should be accustomed to this by now. Will the new CEO require the bulk of the year to settle in like salad man... it's anyone's guess but I am not sure I can stand much more excitement!
ShaunP -- now there's a name from the past not forgetting VanV. Who can forget those spreadsheets! I still remember when this normally placid constructive poster blew up and jacked it all in. Oh that I had followed suite but all too late now. I may sound like Mr Negative but this 'build up' (hollow laugh) to the next statement is identical to the last and the all so depressing RNS. The incredibly long silences and our hoped for good news and little surge of buying beforehand all smacks of deja vu. As Kaeren says so many unanswered questions! I am not holding out much hope but probably like many will hold on to the bitter end. A TO may prove a blessed relief but in all my years of business, I have never come across such an uninspiring BOD - perhaps a new CEO will work wonders.
ValJu. Am simply trying to be helpful. I enjoy reading some of your posts which can be constructive but what's the point in you continuously responding to Mr Negative? Most LTHs took on board his salient criticism many hundreds of posts ago but your continual responses provide him with oxygen to breathe and regurgitate the usual mind numbing comments. Go on, give it a try and see the improvement on this site. I will crawl back under my shell now and hope to see a new dawn soon.
Louis, absolutely. Those who pander to Mr Negative are in turn doing this forum no service but as I said before, they must like the sound of their own voices. I guess the only solution would be to filter them also as so much time is wasted trawling through their replies.
... and am amazed to see so many still spar with PI100. Why on earth do you pander to this 'person' instead of putting him in the green file - the forum would be far healthier - it's almost as if you many of you enjoy his comments which add zero information to this forum but use up so much valuable space. Wise up folks -- he or she is making a monkey of you and winning hands down! Go on try it -- bin the blighter for once and for all!
Well articulated Crl. Like you I have lost most of the family inheritance but like many LTHs here I suspect seem prepared to go down with the SS Nova when the cash runs out, if we live that long. It's a wretched situation but best to switch off from this site again for a while perhaps before it does one serious harm. I just wish somehow we could get these feelings of ire across to the BOD but they are laughing all the way to the bank and it won't be the Bank of Dave. Watch this film, it will really cheer you I!
Flight of fancy. Anyone who has watched Bank of Dave on Netflix would appoint this guy as a CEO. A tremendous inspiring character in real life also. Uplifting enjoyable film. Sadly, none of these superlatives relate to our BOD! Just thank your lucky stars you are not married to any of these miserable deadbeats Kaeren :)
Ditto Pebble. I guess it will be a virtual AGM again and I am not sure I can face another completely lack - lustre event - remember how simply awful it was last year? Depressing took on a whole new meaning! It looks to all intents and purposes as if the SP will drift down to 60p again and that a DHSC settlement of sorts will prove our only saviour. At times I almost wish GM came back -- at least the had a flicker of life! Forget I said that! Wonder if he is still holding that last big share purchase at around £8.45.
... they are consistent in virtual zero flow of communications. I thought a year or so ago they appointed a PR woman unless that was wishful thinking. They posted a Twitter this morning or last night on their Strep A 5 minute LFT and there were the usual derisory comments from the French with the key word being pathétique -- not referring to the test but lack of sales info etc. To my little mind it beggars belief that this particular test has not been given far more publicity as most parents must be concerned and totally unaware there is a test. But no, we are approaching the next reporting session devoid of any imaginative build up so one has to assume I guess that yet again they have absolutely zero to shout about in terms of sales and other key areas. What a naff concern and clearly Wakefield never tunes into this site or is aware of LTH's concerns. This BOD have a very easy ride!
Healthcare investors and executives are gathering in a sodden San Francisco on Monday for the year’s largest healthcare investment conference, the first time the confab has gathered in person since 2020.
Hosted by JPMorgan Chase, the J.P. Morgan Healthcare Conference is slightly scaled back this year. The event is drawing 8,000 registered attendees this year, compared with 10,000 before the pandemic, according to a JPMorgan spokesperson.
... but the run into our next major update is virtually identical to the last with few interim threads of cheer and not a hint of any M & A. I have to assume it will prove the same if not worse than the last. Will a new CEO be announced hopefully not resulting in another 12 months of wasted time. If not, the time might be ripe for a T/O which although far from ideal for us long term shareholders may rid ourselves of a weak BOD and give us the impetus we sorely need. Meanwhile we drift along with directors and staff salaries assured thank to our cash pile. Not exactly ideal is it!
He clearly took offense at something I said Venturai and it touched a raw nerve. I have got to hand it to him - his volume of posts were quite outstanding and I suspect even greater than the famed Porky. Doubtless he will return and I suspect he is still tuning into this site bursting a gut to comment. Let's hope by then we have something to cheer about from Nova. Have you ever come across a company with such a dreadful PR!
Good luck ValJu. The break will do you the power of good as this site can become as potent as any drug. Some friendly advice, you appear too involved in every discussion and it can drive you nuts so enjoy the break and try and wean yourself off this forum and enjoy the nicer aspects of life.
... in light of lack of any sort of meaningful news from Nova. Looking on the bright side, the recent surge just shows the potential this share has to rocket should we get substantial news in the form of a DHSC settlement or a M & A etc. - then hold onto your hats. I have given up on the Nova PR front - at least when GM was around he threw us a few bones but the current BOD are impervious to the needs of PIs. Our only hope would appear to be a CEO with some guile and the ability/imagination to tap into the good will of LT shareholders who so much want this company to succeed.
