Not sure what to make of the various reports but am grateful to those who made the effort. One question that puzzles me. With so little seeming activity, what exactly does our CEO do all day -- other than wait in anticipation for his massive monthly salary. It's a serious question. He is certainly not spending much time communicating with his shareholders and the way things are dragging on, seems to be in the fortunate position of holding a job that will possibly pay him until retirement. Not a bad life eh!
... that I have become very cynical these past few months. I often wonder what still drives RM and co. who so often appear to be swimming against the tide. Is it force of habit year after year or do they still see that Holy Grail on the horizon but always beyond reach. Are they still concerned about improving patients' lives and possibly going down in medical history or has the job just become routine like so many other jobs - offering an extremely generous salary, with travel to favourable parts of the world and a nice ticket to retirement. How much job satisfaction do they get or do they secretly think this work, like so many in the space age will continue many years after they have passed. Theirs is almost a privileged world with seemingly little pressure from shareholders certainly none from PI's who have never, to my knowledge been offered an apology for an abysmal performance. Answers on a post card! Like a few others, I possibly spend too much time on this forum and it's one commodity where I have little left so it's time to take a break and return end of year - if I'm still around!
Have given predicting SP. This time last year was soul destroying so have adopted the attitude not to expect much so as not to be too disappointed. All said and done, RM is a disgrace and I would sorely like to see. him challenged on his almost complete lack of communication with PIs. A smooth talker and personable man but we could do better, much better!
Kaeren. I agree wholeheartedly with your summing up. As Dominic Raab would say, a 'woeful' performance and I can't think of a more appropriate word. Sadly, I fear the worst this week with the climate similar to last year. What a disaster of a BoD. One would almost welcome GM back!
The_Paladin. My view exactly! I feel certain had the Company a smidgen of good news to announce they would have done so long before now via a RNS. Nothing has been forthcoming so I fear it's more jam tomorrow or in a few years time should money hold out. So much for RM's 'haste' comment! I have virtually written this share off but am too stubborn to sell in the off chance there is some modest return. A very poor BOD!
@Hop2. We are not alone as you say. I note some are buying to reduce their overall SP but I will wait for that RNS. I have read absolutely nothing from RM that raises my hopes so it could be a case of throwing good money after bad and I am not falling into that trap again. Frankly, IMy cousin and I are doing our family tree and found this old photo. Would anyone happen to know who's in this photo? ?? do not expect anything of importance to emerge from a RNS. However there should be enough in the kitty to cover their generous salaries. Apologies to sound sour but the lack of any communications to me speaks volumes that they have nothing meaningful to say otherwise they would have thrown us a few small scraps by now. Again, I warn SHs not to get too carried away by this surge unless you have money to burn.
Sorry guys, much though I would love to agree with you all, the surge is due in my humble opinion to pure speculation that something, ANYTHING, in terms of good news MUST be overdue by now but please turn the clock back one year and exactly the same thing happened with disastrous consequences resulting in many SHs (including myself) losing most of their savings! BE WARNED! I say this as not a tiny peep has emerged from RM for ages - EXACTLY the same as last year. I sincerely hope I am proved wrong so that I can claw back a little of the family's inheritance. I know many are in the same boat. Once bitten twice shy! I bitterly rue the day I invested in SNG and hope you do not go through the heart searching and guilt I did!
Relax chaps, I was being facetious as patience is wearing rather thin. However, who knows what is going on behind the scenes on the medical front as other concerns are most likely beavering away in SNG type areas and could possibly beat SNG to the mark. How many LTH's will still be around in a year's time -- many good posters already appear to have departed. RM has got to come up with a statement soon as these long silences are simply unacceptable and an insult to SHs.
Moderna new vaccine for respiratory illnesses - potentially a killer blow for SNG? Too little too late -- so much for RM's 'haste'! It was bound to happen. Time to get out I fear and salvage a few pence on Tuesday - may cover a night's B & B in Bognor for the family if I am lucky.

My guess is some are taking a punt in the off chance there could be some positive news. Sadly, we have been here before with the long silence resulting in SP total collapse. Surely if RM had anything worthwhile to say, he would have thrown shareholders a few scraps. I am preparing for the worst and negative news this time round will surely finish off this concern. Still, some of them have done very well financially out of it and will attempt to drag it out for another year, why wouldn't they!
Just tuned in briefly scanning the post and for a moment thought we had hired Trigger of 'Fools and Horses' fame until I remembered dear old Roger Anthony Lloyd-Pack had passed away - must remember to take my tablets on time! Mind you, Trigger as CEO would at least give us all a laugh and boy don't we need it with possibly one of the most miserable, wretched BoD's around!
... back in the news this morning. 2 out of 3 deaths preventable according to report on the BBC. A chronic worrying condition which has been with us for ever and a day but little reference if any as far as I can see from SNG. But again there has been little reference to anything for so long now from RM so hardly surprising!
