By then, what with the mass of people returning from holiday etc., we should have a far better idea of the scope of the problem. However, the rare RNS from Nova is like a breath of fresh air. The DHSC debacle has been like a lingering festering boil which has now been lanced so we can put all this behind us. Having said that, I had hoped by now, our new CEO would have shown his mettle and been more upbeat as we cannot afford another year of inactivity like salad man!

Spot on Brentw! Having said that, Nova are possibly one of the world's worst companies in terms of communication with a total disdain for SHs. I think this will bubble on for a few weeks yet especially if more cases of Mpox are announced in the EU. I suspect long suffering LTHs are pondering whether to take gains sooner than later - once bitten, twice shy. I certainly am!

There is and has been a major drought in SA and Zimbabwe. This means no running water in many homes and water has to be fetched from boreholes and the like. It's a pretty grim life for millions in both these countries deprived of the bare essential. Many Zimbabweans live in SA and travel home a lot so it is only a matter of time before this spreads. Both countries have many relations in the UK and elsewhere seeking a better life who often travel home to see their families.

Sadly Paladin, I fear you should prepare for the worst. Stringing along is the right phrase I am afraid. It's barely worth selling now but I will hang on until the end of the year and then abandon ship. A disgraceful lack of communications but they will enjoy lucrative salaries until the end so they are no fools in that respect!

...to receive some sort of update on Mpox testing equipment (sales, interest, ANYTHING) from NCYT but pigs might fly. This company, as newcomers will discover, give a whole new meaning to the word lacklustre and incompetence where communications are concerned and a total disdain for keeping SH's informed.

As a LTH, I agree with your sentiments Brentw1. So many new kids on the block here now expressing deep knowledge of NYCT. Like you, I am sitting on a big loss and was tempted to sell some this morning but will hold on for a couple of weeks reason being that I think this has still a bit to run. Symptoms of Mpox do not show for a few weeks seemingly so if a few cases emerge in the UK , as is expected, I think we will see another surge in SP. Also remember we are likely to hear about our substantial VAT refund soon which will certainly do us no harm!

If there is, it will be on a Friday to lessen the effect of wrath from shareholders over the weekend as the whole situation just sounds ominous (that word again) to me. Any company with a modicum of common sense would have said something by now had there been a smidgen of half decent news. Their silence speaks volumes so sadly as a LTH I fear the worst! It is an appalling concern seemingly run by charlatans.
