Never in Cake but just got into HUR for first oil this year. I am mainly in oilers and more recently a few gold. Tried to diversify but lots of nailed on so called certs seem to be struggling.

SP has been steady since Medco's initial prospective offer so i see 48.5 as supportive to present SP.

48.5 is just the opening shot in a possible takeover. I take 48.5 as the floor and anything over as a bonus. The company's prospects are improving so the co is not desperate for a rescue takeover. The onus is on the bidder.

Taken a punt here last week. Will be too late to get in under 2 once news lands. Just got to assume BOD are pushing forward with sarawak and are motivated to do so as they are significant shareholders. Tune Group presumably want some action as well.

Agreed. If an SP wobbles at least a divi provides support and the sum invested is not just dead money as there is a div coming down the pipeline to compensate for the time invested even if there is no capital growth. It is more tempting to cut and run from a share drifting down if there is no dividend payable.

I switched to HGM but now hold both hgm and aau - plus AAZ for growth and divi.

I invested here years ago and sold out after first gold when the SP failed to move. I bought back in last year on price weakness and am hopeful this is the year for real progess both for POG and aau

The tms article states GEO has a 'healthy' £1.4m cash balance as at 30 June 2018. If the permit is approved how much cash will GEO need going forward?
