Retail sales non-food online fell in Feb but still improved year on year. Also John Lewis trading update this Thursday (like NEXT) can set the mood and general direction for BooHoo.

egg on me face! this has to go up by the end of the day,it's madness! will keep buying, the sum of parts is worth more than the SP, what am I missing that Mr Market knows?? Al things blended in, good vs evil etc, this should rise...

there have been many a false dawns with ITV share price but seriously this will rocket to a £1, if not today then within days! Results confirm company was right and Mr market wrong. of course the market can get it wrong!

Markets in HK up by 4% - that has to be good for BooHoo for the just in time-trend manufacture of garments , will help get product mix to be right and on time, means less returns, and better oiled supply chain, can def see this and ASOS making a steady return up, infact would say SP for both stocks has now consolidated at much higher levels than in rcent times, 50p vs 30p in the case for Boo

this is the mystic who called Friday's rise correct. I don't comment here often but when conversation turns to fluffy talk need to inject rigour. SHEIN plans to double revenue by 2025 from 22.7B to $58.5B and profit from 700m to $7.5B . If it can then so can Boohoo? Huge market? also it's not about a race to the bottom on pricing per SE, it is about brand loyalty and repeat purchases! Does Boohoo excel in these latter points? PS, TMRW a rise to 56p is on the cards imho, have called it right 4/5 times in recent past! (Not encouraging anyone to buy or sell Boohoo, just provoking discussion this sunny Sunday morning!)

Oh just seen this from the US, if sales are falling that will def limit any upside for BooHoo. Good results will limit the downside! 50-55p tmrw would be a good result.

The shorts must be holding their nerve. Even though short % has decreased from 10% to 4% it has not really created a bear squeeze. Tmrw is the day which will prove if those shorting the share were correct in doing so, else there is likely to be a short squeeze. Even then a Share is only worth what one is willing to pay for it!! That last fact is sometimes forgotten.

haha called this right!! Again. next week when Boohoo releases results the SP rise will already be factored in, could drop if results are worse then expected but if better than expected then should lurch even higher ..

Unless Boohoo made some fundamental mishaps, ASOS will fly out of the blocks on their trading update this morning and Boohoo will shoot up! This mystic had called it right 4/5 times so far here. H2 of this year is when folks betting against the share will ultimately exit those positions. in the 40's today easily unless US inflation pulls the markets down!

We now expect the cost price inflation on like-for-like goods to peak at around 8% in the Spring Summer season. However, we expect inflation to be no more than 6% in the second half. quote from NEXT TU this morning. Should help support all retailers.

If NEXT please the market TMRW then BooHoo will rock to 42p... else the whole retail sector will crater ..then of course ASOS next week..!

OK hands up got this wrong!! Quiz and china reopening should have had a positive effect on SP but guess Mr market is feeling bit panicked about the near term interest rate cycle peaking to tackle inflation. but think this point is very near as shipping rates and inflation have peaked so first green shoots of recession not being bad as feared will def make this pop. I've said it before, nothing to do with Shorts etc, only 6% of shares on loan, and not even in the top 10 of most shorted shares. it's pure sentiment . still think 80p is a no brainer in the near term of this share.

China re-opening, will approach or test 50s today ...

it will see a rise but gains will be tempered due to the comments about growth possibly impacted by headwinds...probably put in there to temper expectations...

IN RESPONSE TO MY OWN POST: I HAVE FOUND THE ANSWER. ASOS HAS BEEN SOLD OFF MORE HEAVILY BY A NUMBER OF TECHNICAL INDICATORS SO IT HAS RECOVERED FASTER. ASOS AND BOOHOO ARE TWO OF THE MOST HEAVILY SOLD CONSUMER STOCKS.. FURTHER RISE TO 84p possible by year end says the MYSTIC who always calls it right !!

The mystic always has his projections right, how comes ASOS is accelerating at double pace over this in % terms and from a higher SP in £???

Shipping spot rates are back to where they are at start of pandemic, well almost. Also with peak inflation in sight or perhaps already past, think this with shoot up. But demand (worsening economy) will temper gains on the way up.
