@Hurtle: Since 2012 planning has been started in creating a "North, South, East, West" railway line spine up and down the UK with "Ribs" (East , West) There will be transport hubs along the routes so the EV lorries only need to collect from the train hubs to the point of need!! Simples chaps! Let the train take the strain.. http://www.rail.co.uk/rail-news/2012/five-year-railway-investment-plan/
As I mentioned last Monday after speaking with my broker: I've just received my open offer letter and I can take up my ISA offer (all or part) outside my ISA and entered in my normal account if ISA is max.. However, I am not able to have any excess shares as they pooled so cannot guarantee the min req'ment.
I've just checked with my broker (first direct so probably hsbc as well) that there has been a information letter sent out today regarding the CM offer. A further letter will be sent out with full details.. Worthy of note: first direct do not charge a transaction fee for corp actions and if your isa is full or lacks funds then can be added to your normal account instead.. as always DYOR..
@MrsB: Still here, sittting at the back....... KM still waiting down the road outside Vila do Conde to be unloaded. Not adding at the mo but will look at the offer when it comes just to take up the diluton slack.
