Christmas: DEV Mineração provides children's meeting with Santa Claus
Last Saturday (18), DEV Mineração Christmas 2021 was held. The social action sought to integrate the community through an event aimed at children from 0 to 10 years old in the municipality of Santana-AP.

In all, more than 100 children and their companions visited the facilities of Bosque Fazenda do Urucum, at DEV Mineração's headquarters.
At the site, the children were able to meet Santa Claus, take pictures, receive a gift, in addition to having access to popcorn and cotton candy. A charanga with Christmas music and two clowns also enlivened the party.
Antônio Santos Ferreira is the father of Raíla, aged 09, and Perola, aged 07, and he brought his two daughters to visit the mining company and get to know the good old man up close.
“They were delighted with everything they saw. It was a really cool day for my family and I hope that actions like this one, to get closer to the population, will continue. It's good for us to come here and see all this structure assembled, these wagons and still have moments of relaxation”, he said.
Carla Sena works in a social project in the Novo Horizonte neighborhood, in Santana-AP. She brought 10 children to the event and described the emotion they felt for the moment.

“The coolest thing was that we even took a record of this home. It's moments like this that children will never forget”, he said. The attorney for DEV Mineração, Raquel Dalseco, highlighted that these initiatives are aimed precisely at interacting with the population and providing integration to a project to revitalize the company.
“We always want to build positive partnerships with the community. And this was a time to bring the magic of Christmas to children. Some, unfortunately, did not have the pleasure of meeting Santa Claus, talking to him and even receiving a gift. Today, that has changed and they left very happy with it”, concluded.
