Ecometals obtains judicial authorization to resume manganese exports from the Port of Santana
In a hearing held on Tuesday (28), at the Court of Justice of Amapá (TJAP), on the presidency of judge João Guilherme Lages, businessmen responsible for mining companies assured members of the Public Ministry of Amapá (MP-AP), that the The municipalities of Pedra Branca do Amapari and Serra do Navio will receive R$ 4 million from the companies to compensate for the environmental impacts generated by mineral extraction and they will comply with the agreement approved by the Pedra Branca do Amapari Court.
This amount will be reverted to the benefit of the population of communities affected by mining. The amount was secured and the judge of the TJAP, João Guilherme Lages, in case nº 0003166-1622,8,03,000, decided to release the vessel with ore from the companies Ecometals Manganês do Amapá Ltda and Amazon Brasil Mineração Eireli.

The company also committed, within 15 days, to deposit another R$ 3,000,000.00 (three million reais), with the same procedure as the first payment.
