I agree with your thoughts on the state of the country in the future.

One thing that you got wrong was your assumption that CASH will be King, there will be no cash, you will have bank credits, just numbers in a bank. That £ 1 million credits will be undrawable, untouchable and none existent in any physical form. And the younger generation just can not wait for it to come.

Interest rates are not historically high, low interest rates will not help this bank or any other bank or people with cash on deposit, or even premium bonds !. But our politicians are wedded to it for low interests rates keep the interest that the government has to pay on its gilts down. Low interest rates allows the government to borrow more to spend on the things that just make things worse for all of us.

Net immigration does not mean no immigration as some seem to think, and of course the politicians do want people to believe. We could have so called net immigration an still have population replacement, as is the plan!

100,000 English leave England in a year and 100,000 Africans come into England in the same year and that equates to net migration. We do not need net migration we need reduced migration to only those that we do require, which would be historically be less than 40,000 per annum not per month.

The Establishment do love to use the con-word NET.

Net Zero CO2 emissions does not mean No C02 emissions, it just means Co2 credits ie money will equal emissions, so some will make money as Elon Musk is doing right now. Even friends of the earth have called it a scam.

Well he missed out the 2007/8 crash !

If he bought during the Crash of 2010 he must be a fast worker for it lasted 36 minutes, known as the flash crash of 2010. Mr Mitty does not consider buying during periods of turmoil to be gambling! But the crash of 2007/8 lasted for some time and he missed it. The international investor, who spends all day looking at the Lloyds price. And contradicting himself with every post.

On digital money, there was actually a discussion down in Australia prior to Covid, with regards to what it would mean for peoples money held in banks. There was a general consensus that banks would not pay interests on monies they held but would actually charge around 3% for managing your money !

After all there would be no physical money just credits, as with a one armed bandit machine ! Nothing to withdraw and put in the safe deposit box. Every transaction noted and taxed.

But I am sure todays generation of misfits will readily sign up for it, after all they just love new toys, they already live in a third dimension.
