I am not worried about the winter fuel allowance I do not use a bus pass but I do still plenty of tax !

Yes just keep cutting from those that manage to do something with their lives and see those same people say why bother, what is the point.

I have a simple suggestion to save a few quid, turn the heating down in the Palace of West Minister and Whitehall by say 10degrees in winter, turn the air conditioning off in summer, help to save that black hole and the environment .

Stop those MPs and Lords who live within say 3 miles of West Minister from claiming taxi fares, the walk after all will do them good, even Rayners putting the pounds back on and Starmer could do with losing some fat of his neck and face.

That increase will have nothing to do with this government, that equates to an average increase of £340 per year.

I can tell you now, MPs will be better off by more than £1700 in five years !

On those in the house of lords enjoying their riches I agree, including those Labour Peers and immigrant peers remember, so many of them, and more to come if Starmer has his way.

Why not an elected house, because the Tories and Labour would have no where to dump their failed MPs and no way of rewarding their donors ! Always remember Peter Mandelson the ex-communist he was so excited at joining their Lordships.

£315 per day to a Lord or lady is fine but £300 quid per year to a pensioner is destroying the economy.

MPs claiming all their utility bills is fine too.

Tell me when did a retired MP ever have to turn their heating down.
