Can you inform us as to which political parties elect their leader other than by party members? I have never been asked to vote for any party leader because I am in no party.
You seem to be under the impression that we vote in general elections for the party leader, we vote for the PARTY a donkey could be the leader, as usually, they are.
The Americans vote for a president and then the congress and Senate, which can be different from the president's party.

12 million is actually on the low side the population of the UK is between 66milion and 70 million the 66million is the government statistic.
Their own population information states that 18.5% of the population is made up of immigrant groups, which they classify as white, black, brown, and others as they term it.
Taking that figure which is bogus figure because the government has no idea who is in the country, remembering that Blairs Government stopped counting people in or out. And no one knows how many illegals are in the country, but 20 years ago a figure of over 1 million was said to be here so 18.5% is now nearer 20% at least.
So taking 66million - 18.5% =12,210.000 .
If we take the figure to be 70 million and 20% as some do, then we come to a figure of 14 million from the immigrant community.
I actually kept the figure low, know someone would try and be smart.

Russia did not influence the Brexit vote, you are an idiot if you think so, but Russia has paid off many traitors in this country over the years from MPs to union leaders. That is a fact that nobody is worried about that, not even the security services. On Russian influence, the EU is more prone to that, Ex-German Chancellor Gerhard Schroder is still a shareholder and sitting on the board of Gazprom, and Frau Merkel, an ex-paid-up Communist party member. And many EU nations have had or still have Communist connections/parties.
So if we were still in the EU would we be worse off or better or?

On using foreign aid, at home to contribute to dealing with the asylum/illegals, I read Germany actually does that, whether foreign aid is spent on foreigners here or abroad, what is the actual difference?
And I read over the weekend we are still giving India £50 million in aid.
But we do spend a lot more on foreigners than most realise.
Rory Stewart the ex-MP who now works for a charity (never out of work for long are they) now says foreign aid is mis-spent.

Germany got the EU hooked on Russian energy; is it a coincidence that Putin decided to invade his neighbor once the EU was in his energy grip? Now we are all in an asymmetrical energy /financial war which is getting more damaging with each passing day. If the EU was not in the grip of Putin would he have invaded Ukraine?
One thing we can bet on is if there is trouble in Europe the Germans will be the cause.
