Before I scour the internet to find out, what timescales are we looking at between production drilling and taking photographs of gold bars in the bank? I.e How long would GGP have to withstand production costs before the income starts to overtake?

I'm glad you mentioned that wasred. I'd been mulling over those definitions for some time.

Moreover, did you know that there is a fish called the 'Sunfish', also known as the Pumpkin fish because of it's beautiful colouring? It's an invasive freshwater species now found on the continent. It is actually illegal to throw the fish back in if you catch one. Fortunately, unlike many freshwater fish, it is very tasty 'which I can vouch for having eaten a couple that had been shallow pan-fried.

The Zander is another invasive fish found now in the UK. Same rules apply and it is also very tasty or so I have heard never having caught one.

We seem to have been missing some of our premier league members here for several days. I take it they have transferred themselves to a different forum and left us plebs to carry the can here!

It did. The UT took it up to 12.20 and then a sell of £2,500 put it back down to 11.80 at 16.38. The London Stock Exchange still shows it at 12.2 though so let's enjoy our lovely evening in the blue and under the blue. Nice.

Fair enough Quitefrankly. Each to their own as they say. There is a danger of a share getting a kind of 'cult' following that alters the reasoning of the investor. For me though, I have to work in a different way: I have become a GGP enthusiast, to the exclusion of all others, because I am feeling comfortable again. I'm not really a major speculator. Going 'all in' on GGP was a major leap of faith and pretty much out of character but I'm glad I did. Short of having a list of the positives pinned to the top of the laptop , I see no better investment than this one.

I've been thinking about 'shorters'; people who borrow shares from a broker, sell them and then hope that a decline in the share price, maybe brought in by the panic of the share price plunge they created, means they can buy them back at a cheaper price, give the shares back to the broker and pocket a wad of cash for the difference.

What a miserable bunch of gits they must be eh? I mean they are hardly going to go down the pub and buy their mates a round afterwards are they? They must all be like Sean Bean's character in 'The Martian'. Everyone, is trying their best to save Matt Damon from eating potatoes grown in an unspeakable fertiliser for the rest of his rapidly reducing days and what does Sean do? He contacts the crew of the mother ship and tells them they left their mate behind. Just thought you ought to know like.

Someone accused me of being a shorter on here once! That's like accusing me of eating Matt's fertliser! But we do get their dementor groupies on here from time to time. Watch out for them. When we have a period of stagnation like now, they'll be the ones to poke a stick into the pond and stir up the water, just like we did when we were kids. You know, to make it stink a bit more then run away laughing.

The current price of gold is around £1400 and the blue line along the graph around the 17 minute line seems to assume this value when calculating the possible share price. E.g if the resource is 10m oz then the perceived price would be around 30p.

Did anyone do what I did and work out what you REALLY, truly believe to be the share price we will see? My eyes kept drifting to the bottom right of the red column I must say. I think I am morphing into Mickey!
