So, I'm wondering who, in their right mind, would wait until the very end of the day to buy at a premium at precisely the same time we anticipated a purchase from the gdjx if it wasn't gdxj?

It seems pretty clear to me that it was gdxj and that they were short of 11 million shares, hence the downtrodden share price on the last day to help the mms scoop up the shares to facilitate the order.

I can vouch for this having done it myself.

I guess the uplift, when it comes, will still need to be in keeping with the perceived amount of precious metal being found and then recoverable economically. If the amounts are ten times that currently assumed then it will follow.

I've been saying for some time that the Havieron resource could well be 30m oz when fully discovered. On top of that you have the other tenements, information upon which will be forthcoming soon. Next week perhaps for the Scallywag EM survey.

I came here via a mention of it by Bamps in the Taylor Wimpey thread. I stuck £500 in at 1.5p if I remember correctly and then kept adding via the sales of the other shares in my portfolio (that were going in an opposite direction). What a journey so far! All my errors were in chasing some rather silly oil shares I new very little about.

It's hard though Mellchitt. So many AIM shares you have to avoid being greedy and take the scraps when they arrive. GGP is so amazingly different!

Redirons. I never even considered that advantage with the puny amount I had left pre-GGP but I am now aware of it!

Residency first and then tax residency. You can then apply for a ten year non-habitual residency status and pay 10% tax on the pension (no longer zero from April this year) which is quite attractive I must say!

Fair play to you Hollamatronic for posting. What went through your mind when you saw the crash (today or back to 12 p odd) but couldn't press the buy button even though you had the money to invest? What worried you?

There is such annoying machismo stuff on the boards. With very few exceptions, hardly anyone posts on here and admits that they made an error of judgement. Schlemiel was an exception when he announced that he had sold a bunch of shares too early and kicked himself for it.

What I'd like to see and there is about as much chance of me whistling out of my posterior, is even one post from someone who admits that they sold out today. either in a panic or otherwise. Not one person (I think) has done so for fear of being a 'lesser' person and of course for the anticipated mockery they might receive.

So we remain blissfully unaware of these sellers. We simply assume that they are 'weak' somehow and they remain faceless. A pity. We are all human and make errors but this damn macho stuff is so repressive and never allows us to fully connect the circle.

Well the only thing I'm slicing is a bit of cheese to go with this Bishops Finger Ale. 5.4% from Aldi and bought to celebrate a fantastic week. We went shopping so LadyMush could stock up on at least three months supply of tea. Can you believe 480 bags of tea and 200 bags of Earl Grey!! She could drink tea for England.

You can get tea bags down in Portugal of course but they are kind of 'market maker' type bags; questionable.

Me neither Rup because dropping the sp doesn't JUST panic people into selling. It also encourages the canny to top up. All very odd and unchartered waters for me. (But then most things in this caper are in that category haha)
