I am afraid recent price movement over last week or so has been pointing to problems with this well. Still in for the long run but now expect final closure on this well shortly. They tried but now we have to wait until 2019 for conventional to kick in. Shame but he always said its 50/50. time to move on and put this on the back burner for now.

Though all these rns and recent fund raising were leading to something, as mentioned in my post sometime ago. Very happy now as my recent buying over the last week or so have paid dividends this morning. Probably kick out a few as the price goes up. However still retaining a core holding for the longer term.

Current SP action takes into account the oil price and current market conditions . All equities now getting hit. This cannot hold up against this background unless we see some positive news flow. Its that simple

Its all very interesting to see these rns's but most have no idea what they mean or understand them fully, unless you are an oil expert. Its probably best to leave alone until we have concrete evidence that the well has performed as expected or not. I expect these rns are being produced thick and fast as its information that technically is price sensitive and if DW is talking to partners he cannot give them information without a general release.. Otherwise those parties could be considered insiders. Just my thoughts on the subject . more rns=interested parties still in talks.!

HardTo Handle- he new Paul as a contact from his previous work and obviously approached him, and Paul came up with the Alaska project. Thats how it started. Shame Paul is no longer with us.

Brombard, you are very correct, Its not the background but the individual, and he has picked up the pieces and got on with the job in hand. That's why we are at this stage today.

Hmmm you will not find out the source, I have told you the back ground of how he came on board.That was the time I first met him, when he came to London to raise funds after the Tangiers well failure..One of the main shareholders at that time was involved in his appointment - sadly he had since died. Just accept he has done a great job and very much aware of the support he has had from the shareholders during this time. Its not fun trying to raise funds all the time to keep a project going believe me.

Hmmm, when Tangiers was finished he had to raise funds to keep the company going and at that time he raised monies putting in his own as well. He did that on two fund raising at that time. So he was committed to the company and saw a future. Many others would have walked away and left the company to its fate. So once again his hard work has got us to this stage where many would have given up.

When the others were kick off from Tangiers DW was short listed with one other. The other was oil man who had other commitments and DW was chosen. He had to pick up the pieces when Tangiers well failed and the company was finished. He raised money to find another project and so the rest is history. He has worked hard to get us to this stage and i for one respect that.

Brombard- if it gets illiquid and difficult to trade main stream then , I will use the grey market as one or two will give me a price.

Brombard-spent many years working in the capital markets in london. packed up some time ago when the fun when out of it. Still trade my own positions and small consortium of friends. We have accumulated well into the 75m+ in this share. have taken large profits out so on break even now. Got involved back in the tangiers time. Did know that DW was short listed for the job and when another major oil guy turned it down he got the job.The larger shareholders appear to have made a very good choice at that time. My oil contacts have looked at this in some depth and have been adding to their positions during and after the recent issue.Happy to sit tight now and let it run, will probably top slice some if it runs up too fast. Currently sold most other shares and continuing to add to my gold and silver positions. Markets setting up for major correction.- Putting shorts on across the board. 88E appears to be the only game in town for now.

whats the point of making dummy trades all day. When things get busy they just widen out the spread, go price subject or just make the quotes in smaller trading sizes. If doing through a brokers system they will put the plug on the broker or just tell the broker to phone. We used to just pull the lines and if the broker insisted on the price we just quoted a wide spread in small size. It makes no sense as actually there are only two market makers in this stock.

Still price action does not look good , and should be moving up at this stage of the game. Probably holding it back to stop any flow back from recent placement.

what it means is no quote and you end up holding shares in what in effect is a private company. Then the directors rather than having lots of private investors and the hassle, they dilute the shareholders to zero so ending up with the company and its assets to share out at a later date between themselves. Its classical case of stuff the shareholders.
