Also as we know the fund who has the biggest short they also hold tons of the debt. So as away to hedge the debt position they short the equity. Could well have closed some shorts out with the dramatic fall to come back another time to short at a higher price. Hence cap on current price. Only spanner in this if they hit oil with current drill must increase their asset valuations.

The reason gold and silver are going down is because people are taking money out to cover loss elsewhere. When this stops expect gold to go up again. This time it will take out recent highs very quickly. Buy quality shares ie producers. Higher prices go straight to their bottom line and you have the leveraged effect.

Its all very simple, the mm's are trading from flat positions and don't want to be caught out. So they just adjust prices to ensure they are not over exposed. Also as I have said many times they do not have the capital to take on risk pp in this penny stock. They also are aware its driven by retail and not major buyers at this stage. Could well change if the drill comes in as expected.

Electric cars are out of date before they start. Blue gas is the way, China has already built its first station followed by Saudi and 11000 vehicles use this state side. Once again this country is the laughing stock as many see our energy policy as ill thought out and not workable.

Timor-Leste appears to be the next big oil/gas area for exploration. Apparently they are taking in terms of massive potential with figures of $390bn of cash generation over the next few years. Perhaps the new place to invest in?

The problem I see coming is when we want to sell large sizes. I expect the mm's will widen the spread and only quote for smaller size on dealing platforms and any large size will be subject. Means the platforms will have to phone up the dealers for prices. Watch out with the pricing and only leave firm bid and not ' at best'.

Yes , the problem with these small stocks is the MM'S tend to be the smaller players and as they want the broker mandates they have to provide a market in the shares. Also many of them have limited capital which they cannot afford to tie up in stock ( shares) so they trade from a flat position . Hence the widen spread as we come into the close of trading each day as they don't want to get hit at the last minute. Would be good to see a larger player make a market and then you could move millions around on each deal.

PMO putting up 23m is not alot in the over all scheme of things for them. What they need is reserves and further value even if it just left in the ground. This could well be a major company turn around for them and all those shorts could well get killed in the stampede to cover. Once again it has to flow.

This still remains high risk and even if we find oil it has to flow. Current sp reflecting the risk as MM's don't want to take it very high to stop flow back from punters/profit takers.Remember the upside is limited as there is no depth to the market in this stock. Should we get a positive result expect to see wider spread and limited dealing sizes. Expect market will only quote for half a bar as they have no capacity to get hit in millions as investors take profits. Also any success on this well means we are probably many months away before any further action and hence upside movement on the sp will be limited.

Don't need to quote from some else. Its pretty plain how these are traded. Not assumptions just knowledge on how these mm trade positions. Also they are the companies broker so they need to tell the story every so often. Probably been told to put out some research by 88e - thats what they are paid for and recently they have provided nothing. I expect 88E have told them to start earning their money as DW privately must be disappointed with the current sp level.

Don't get too carried away, Cenkos needs to say something to get the sp up so they can off load the rump of recent issue and probably traders been told to reduce exposure. Why now bring our report when we all know whats going on. Remember they don't have a large capital base and therefore cannot carry large positions. Most probably they trade from flat positions. still need to see the black stuff before any major price move.

The pod cast has probably given answers to the questions we were all thinking about. Makes very good sense . DW is still very much in control and things look very positive going forward. Rome was not build in a day.

its very straight forward the mm's don't want any flow back hence reduce the bid and keep the offer side at placement price. Also could well be some overhang of stock on their books so keep the price at original offer price. They have still made money on the placement fees.
