Can people get as grip, brokers and trading platforms like HL do not lend stocks. Stock lending is mostly undertaken by large financial institutions who will hold stocks for long periods of time- several years. They lend stock out for extra income but have to taken into account counterparty risks. They only lend out stock when the market needs stock to complete transactions . Most insurance companies, life funds etc hold stocks for years and they know what and when they will sell so they can lend out stocks.

oil prices likely to trade around the 60/70 bucks per barrel. With upside breaking 100 then 150 and even 200 over coming years. This makes 88e look even more attractive to someone over the longer term. With an open window of approx. 10 years for oil usage until it falls off due to the push for electric power. So current oil produces will go all out to make hey and with no majors looking for new fields and production oil prices will take out the higher levels.

Those US investors have been around for years. Remember PB and where he came from. Its just now some one state side has realised the potential here. I expect the last two funding's where pre sold as they were done within 24 hrs, and to oil investors. Expect they were oil men looking for new opportunities as oil production is falling on their own patch. Looks to me that any good result will result in some corporate activity, - take over , but more like 88e being reversed into one of their own companies. Once again massive consolidation will take place.

All companies are different and past examples mean nothing as the economic conditions are never the same. ie oil price etc. The only thing you need worry about is the number of shares outstanding and we have billions- never a good sign. Also more monies will be needed to carry this forward which means further issuance, more give away under farm outs, or take over which would no doubt mean massive share consolidation.

Managed to sell a few million in blocks today on the rise, nice turn from the 26 brought at. Still hope for more upside so still carrying a few million. However will again sell into any strong rally as history has shown us. Perhaps keep the free ones for future developments, although cant see any massive upside if drill successful.

There is only a couple brokers really the rest are dealing on the back of their prices. I tried real sell with HL this morning several times and they are only showing orders placed. Could not deal on line. This is what happens with aim stocks no depth in the market and also widening of the spread. ( means they don't want to deal) Also they know there are billions of shares out and they don't want to be caught holding the baby on past record of drilling.

Hull I would disagree with you, those putting up the finance last time would hardly be selling for such a small sp up tick. They appear to be oil men and they don't operate that way. If we see similar comment on the recent placing I would suggest its the same bunch as before. That would confirm my take -see recent post.

I don't think financial officer and company secretary has the credentials to be MD and take 88e to the next stage. It now needs a experienced oil man. If you put up 20m odd I would expect to put in my own man. We need oil experience for the next stage not financial men. We have moved on provided the well is successful.

my view, cash raise have both been done within a day. Points to the fact it was pre arranged. Question remains by who. Looks like those out of Houston . If so they are no doubt oil men looking towards the future . These guys don't just buy shares for a quick again but longer term view such as taking it to full production. Hence DW going. If we find the black stuff and flows work this will take the company to a new level. Expect new MD to be appointed once DW goes and will be some experienced oil man. Would probably see this company reversed into another established oil company.

Not really a surprise as the share price has been in a tight range for weeks pp on asx. Brokers not willing to push price up as they would have know about this well in advance. Obviously sounded out to see what demand and at what price they could get the raise done. Must admit getting a feed up with this company and like many others will probably be off loading on any upward price move.

recent brokers valuation put 2.8p on a successful outcome to the Peregrine drill, Biden now probably adds premium pushing this up to 3-4p.

DW appears to have made another very astute move by purchasing the lease which could well increase the value of the Yukon project. Only one other private company bid for the lease sale. The remaining 9 leases were taken up by AIDEA. My take is this recent lease sale was done very quickly as they new Biden (as he already stated) would reverse Trump’s policy on oil and gas. This means someone and DW could see this coming and obtained the leases before Biden passed the executive order.
AIDEA can now sale these leases on at a later date.
Provided the new drill is successful it can only increase the overall value to 88E with an extra premium added thanks to Biden.
This depends upon my reading of recent events that the new directive will only apply to new leases etc. And not current projects in hand.

Biden will be forced to let the drilling go on but probably with some degree of control. Alaska needs the revenue and jobs.

When oil price starts to go up on less domestic oil being produced all those car drivers will be shouting from the roof tops. Great chance for the other oil producing regions to push prices up and stuff the USA. They have been waiting for such an opportunity now Trump is history.

You are correct . That the end of the days trading mm;s talk to each other and do orders to tidy up their positions. We used to do it all the time.

Some aim fund taking a punt ahead of the drilling. Not much in cash terms for a fund.

sp can't get going until we know the funding position. Usually we see a good report from the company followed by a fund raise. Doubt if many PI 's would put more money in so he should be looking at some private placement and lock in the buyer for a few months so they can't sell. Otherwise all we get is any upward move on the sp and it gets hit as the buyer takes profits. So once again we will see no major price move until drilling starts next year.

just price action is same as before when other cash calls been done. Hope not but lower bid and wider spread gets me thinking.
