Agree with you MisterPositive. I disliked the RF financing and always wondered why the board signed up for it. A explanation could be because they are expecting revenue streams imminently and then the RF deal can be instantly terminated.

I can't claim to understand all that Nissan, but others on here say that this indicates a placing. Again, I don't understand how. Maybe someone with knowledge can explain.

You've done well there being able to average down to low 10s. On any positive news flow I think you'll be home and dry. If we get a decent RNS on FDA partnership, continued uptake of AIHL, foreign sales, or special commissioning, you should br well into decent profit.

Given the above, yesterday's RNS was such a damp squib.

I was seriously considering averaging down to late 20s but that RNS was pathetic. It says to me that there’s no other positive news that’s imminent? Otherwise, why put out such a lame statement. I think perhaps a raise will come before good news, and it’d be best to average down then. Existing holders should get some preferential treatment?

I’m confident it’ll all come good in the end, the products are just fantastic and Cheek seemed to have more nous than his predecessor.

The MHRA notice will not have any connection with NICE. They have very different roles. NICE is about issuing guidance and best practice, whereas these MHRA notices are post market surveillance. These notices are extremely common.

Yes, it'd be interesting out of curiosity to know how this 40C degradation was discovered. At least it indicates that these kit ares are in use - somewhere. It could have been abroad, as GDR would still need to inform UK MHRA as the product is made here and also market here.

John, my understanding is that specialist commissioning will provide trusts with funding. But they are not legally obligated to. If we get it, which we’re almost certain to, it’ll have the same effect as full recommendation.

The quote from the consultant "So, if it is detected in the baby, the mother and any siblings from the maternal side are also likely to carry the gene change and should also avoid gentamicin." is exactly word for word, the additional advantage that James Cheek stated in the presentation he was trying to impress upon NHS stakeholders...interesting.

Spot on Stephen11! We do not need to wait for NICE. Special commissioning will have the same result. This is the difference that James Cheek makes - he knows how to get it done and knows the people that can do it. His name dropping throughout the presentation was telling.

The Interactive Investor states current fair value estimate for GDR is 21.5688p - updated yesterday. Estimate was previously around 12p.

Yes JimiHendrix, the specialist commissioning is very exciting as it obviates the need for full NICE recommendation. This could happen imminently. On that subject, at 23:00 minutes into the presentation JC said he's pretty much got "absolute 100% clarity that its happening". I know I shouldn't have but tempted me to top up a few more shares today!

Yes, looks like there will be a placing. Yes, telegraphing it months in advance not a good idea if you want a SP peaking before hand. This CEO seems very astute, so perhaps the news in Dec/January promises to be very good.

I’ve been wrong at every turn on this Share! However, I hope my run of bad judgement may change with this new CEO. It was a very good presentation.

There may be some positives to the NICE update. It does state there will be support for the evidence generation in the form of funding:

“Support for evidence generation will be available through a competitive process facilitated by the Office for Life Sciences, pending business case approval. This will be in the form of funding for evidence generation consortia...”

And, as noted earlier, the evidence generation period is three years of “real-world data.” Could this include the years of data already collected in Manchester? If so’, the review could be soon.

Having said that, I have been blindsided every time by this share and this could be wrong. I have to hold my hands up and admit much of what @Starresnstoff said recently has transpired as he said it would.
