Barring something significant and unforeseen the draft full recommendation ought to be confirmed. That really will be dramatic for GDR.

I noted Starres posted a subtle preemptive deramp in that even if it’s full recommendation it’ll be only when a lab test isn’t available, and that the NHS will provide more labs - as if the NHS can snap their fingers and a genomics lab would appear next to every hospital! No, there are only a handful of such labs in the country and they can’t cope with the limited testing at the moment. Time after time in the consultation when this lack of capacity was pointed out, NICE responded that the POC was the solution.

Confirmation on July 10th or sooner will be phenomenal for GDR, and of course once the platform is in wide use, all sorts of other tests can follow.

However, despite my skepticism the CYP2C19 got draft full approval. If this is confirmed in July, or before, things should look better. It's only two months away and I've been waiting over 4 years so far. I always thought AIHL would be our saviour; turns out it could be the clopidogrel test.

By the way Roger, and others, there were not 2 sales for 20K at 9:04am. That transaction was by Bed and ISA!

Yes rbr08, CYP2C19 could be a lot bigger if it starts to get used for other indications as well as strokes. We had a clinician on this board who addressed this.

The potential is beyond doubt. As bighammer says, we just need to sort out the funding. It can't be too long now before we find out something.

This was a lackluster RNS. Why could they not reveal the name of the partner? I can't see the wisdom behind issuing this now.

I'd be wary of this pinning everything on this Friday as some of us appear to be. The consultation ends on Friday, but the the NICE guidance is scheduled to be released in July.

Roger, I read all the available NICE consultation documents and I formed the view that things were not looking too positive for GDR due to the apparent lack of evidence on many issues. This was highlighted throughout the report by many commentators.

However, in full knowledge of all this, NICE have clearly given draft FULL recommendation. NICE didn't have to; they could have reserved judgement until the end of the consultation. The fact that they have given draft FULL recommendation suggests their view things differently and have different criteria - perhaps the POC and speed are overriding objectives.

Given the draft recommendation, it would be extraordinary to reverse the FULL recommendation unless something dramatic indeed occurs. That's obvious, otherwise NICE would have egg on their face. I don't think it's fair to state that GIno was being disingenuous.

Let's see if there's news on Friday, or whether we'll fave to wait to July. I have a feeling the raise and the FDA partnership deal are all riding on this event. GDR must be confident, otherwise why take it to the wire?

Thanks for that bighammer. Unfortunately I'm not in profit; 85% down! I've put in my full ISA allowance every year for the last 3 years in GDR and have a few in a trade account!

Can anyone advise me if I'm better off delaying a bed & ISA request until the spread is smaller? I asked customer services at ii but he was a bit vague and just stated they'd try to reduce the spread if they could.

We should receive several pieces of good news:

1. FDA partnership news for AIHL and De novo application.

2. Final Full NICE approval for CYP2C19 should result in some revenue.

3. Increased uptake of MTRNR1 in UK and abroad should increase revenue.

3. Sales of CYP2C19 into Europe as a research test.

4. I hope an imminent placing will secure finances for about a year.

Nice to hear from you Tecknik, it's been a while...around four years! Good to hear you're still invested. I agree with you, this year should be the making of GDR.

The slide at 27mins into the presentation states that the NICE guidance is for CYP2C19 testing within 24 hours. There are only 7 genomic hubs in the UK with a minimum turnaround time of 2 days. I don't see why there wouldn't be extensive use of our test following final full recommendation.

Thanks for the confirmation Rud20, Yes I also noted it on Gino's post. Also in the RNS, James Cheek juxtaposed the CYP2C19 recommendation with the AIHL which he highlighted was conditional.

Yes, in the presentation 8.5M was mentioned in the UK, 93M in EU and 67M in USA!

I appreciate that beancounting, it's been spelt out fairly clearly by the company. My point is if it's still full recommendation come July, that's a massive guaranteed income from the NHS, no? The company could be valued many multiples of what it is now?

This is a FULL recommendation for the CYP2C19 test, albeit in draft. Unless something dramatic happens, it should be full recommendation in July. Does that mean if we can carry on with the RF drawdowns till July we should be home and dry and en route for massive success, without further trials and evidence generation?

It is different to the conditional recommendation for the AIHL - which we're trying to convert to full.

Cheek's last paragraph begins:

"Securing further funding is key to the execution of our strategy as is finalising our partnership in the USA for MT-RNR1 studies required for future de novo submission route for FDA approval."

Do you read this as the company already having confirmation that the FDA route is to be de novo? If so, that is significantly good news...if sustainable funding also achieved.

Thanks for document Lionel1. I don't recall the Welsh Government being on the list before, but I could be wrong. Cheek did mention that he was talking with them. A small indication perhaps that things are happening in the background.
