Andy - you declared that you were/are a holder in NRX, I have a small punt but its nothing more based on their application for EUA. Same now applies to them as it does to SNG. Understand the term what punt means in investing, its a gamble I can afford to lose. Can you here with SNG or NRX?

I think it has with regards to bang for buck and timing. Seems like that the market size is indeed much smaller than anticipated and will not be handed out as first line therapy to all even on oxygen if it passes P3 and is approved. Not everyone on oxygen will further deteriorate in so far as to need this, most do indeed recover with existing treatments. There may even be some delay in approval, allowing them time to work out the cohort that will actually benefit that provides value for money.

Add this on top of post omicron western world when demand will be severely reduced for SNG. There is no point comparing this with other treatments, they got lucky due to timing. SNG is coming far too late to the party, just as its about to end.

Hosai - what are growth stocks but a bunch of speculative stocks relying on sentiment. There are fundamentals that have to come into play. You are correct the large stocks which make bulk of the mcap of the indices have been largely shielded, but that too will now come into focus and its when **** really hits the fan. take Tesla for example... 300 odd times earnings. Where was it before the pandemic. It will tell you how far this bubble has got to burst.

There is no such thing as "bottom" for growth stocks who are loss making.

Hosai - Inflation is now rampant and 1 or even 2 % rates are not going to cut it. They will have to be far more aggressive. Then there is the rebalancing the asset purchases, which is the real reason markets have been inflated so much without increase in productivity to justify it. Fed is going to start to sell those.... this is just a prelude to what will be happening.

Rock - agree, the policy of increasing revenue without ever increasing profit in proportion has always been mystifying. It seems that companies these want to go on a buying spree to increase revenue in the hope someone come along and buys them out for a hefty sum. hasn't quite worked out here.

From what I remember, he has control of 50% of the company through his and his friends holdings in THG.

Does he actually have enough cash liquidity to buy out the remaining shares? Or is all tied up here in THG shares?

Share price falling works for him in the this regard if he has the cash liquidity.

Kallu - Some people have never lived through bear market or a sideways market and they tend to think that no matter what the fundamentals everything will go up if you give it bit of time.
