Keith - do you think he’s abandoning mou-2 or do they have enough money to complete drilling for mou-2 and this is in addition. I am a little confused.
I have no problem with the raise, it’s long over due.
Keith - No it's not a matter of politeness.... its part of the process. It is down to the company once ONHYM receives the acknowledgement letter. They have their part to play but it is largely down to PRD, it is all there in the RNS. Here are the steps:
- ONHYM acknowledgement letter from Ministry to ONHYM
-ONHYM to inform PRD via email or letter (who knows)
-PRD set up a meeting date with Ministry for explosives
-PRD set up a date for transportation of explosives in the meeting with the Ministry
-PRD set up a meeting with local mayor to explain and how they will use the explosives for testing
And then PG comments:
"Once the regulatory process has been fully complied with the Company will begin MOU-1 rigless testing at the very earliest opportunity."
I see no reason for the granularity of the process that was described other than to use it for potential delay in the well test. You can ofcourse differ from my interpretation, ultimately we want the same thing, well test to be carried out without delay. I just fear we will not hear anything till sometime in May.
GRH - I respect what you have achieved but come on now... surely you can now see that there is lot of confirmation bias in your post.
If you get to speak to him, can you please tell him from me that this is really unprofessional stuff. The granularity of the process that he describes just screams yet more delays... he can use any number of the below steps to delay testing..
So what are the next steps:
- ONHYM acknowledgement letter from Ministry to ONHYM
-ONHYM to inform PRD via email or letter (who knows)
-Set up a meeting date with Ministry for explosives
-Set up a date for transportation of explosives in the meeting Ministry
-Set up a meeting with local mayor to explain and how they will use the explosives for testing
This is all assuming they have the explosives in stock!!
If he knew this was the process... what the F he has been doing since Jan.
MEM - Its not poorly worded, but deliberate to give them wriggle room if they need to re-spud elsewhere.
Mick - what cheap shares? I took a position in Jan and in anycase look at mcap and its roughly the same barring 1 or 2 million taken off here and there... but in the bigger scheme of things it doesn't really matter.
As a scientist I use both inductive and deductive reasoning. Nothing would please me more if my concerns are wrong, they are not facts. Only PG can provide facts, and when he does its deliberately opaque, we are left to decipher it and that is my frustration. The opaqueness of the RNS just really grinds my gears.... I just want facts, get the flow test done and lets see what it is. If you have too much on your plate then hire some people to do the job... come on this is not much to ask!
dickie - test test and test............ no one is disputing anything else. The gripe is with this forever suspended animation. Get on with it and get it done.... but he's not intent on doing it any time soon. Why?
Mick - Until and unless there is no opaqueness in the RNS, anything is possible. I think we are being lined up for more delays. I hope I am wrong.
Keith - your post has more clarity than the RNS but it’s conjecture from your part.
The RNS is deliberately opaque and you have to wonder why.
HighlandMatt - again this is unprofessional... focus on the number 1 priority to test mou1 and that if its successful will open up so many doors. Hire some help... this is business 101. In anycase it is pure hope that they may been working on other useful things... I just hope it isn't the bloody green hydrogen he mentioned in the Q&A.
MEM - The finance was to be raised post the mou-1 testing... that's what this is aligning itself with. It maybe another well who knows...
Mk111 - I am quite prepared to take the loss if it all goes belly up. What I don't like is being taken for a mug, these latest delays are really unacceptable considering he has nothing else but this to focus on since they stopped drilling. Ramadan will be the next excuse rolled out...so nothing will happen till the end of April. If we are lucky, May is the earliest we are looking at anything meaningful to happen and perhaps an update un June.
My question is still outstanding... what exactly has he been doing since Jan. Did he not have a plan in place already for the MOU-1 testing? By the looks of it, he did not. The latest delay is just so unprofessional.
What exactly have they been doing since Jan?
Sent mud off to Aberdeen - Check
Then what? This should have been filed weeks ago, surely they had an idea what they were going to do. First time testing for decades so surely he knew what the regulatory requirements were. If he didn't, Lonny should have, since he's been drilling in morroco with other companies.
To me it just seems like he is finding/lining up excuses for delays...
How long will the mud solution take?... that could be another 6 months of keeping everything on the hook, who knows with the way PG operates.
To say that I am disappointed would be an understatement and I only came on board since Jan, can't imagine how LTH must feel with this forever suspended animation!
No it doesn’t. People still goto work and economy functions.
No idea … but they do seem to have a yearly pump and dump for their drilling activity, so that’s something :)
fan fact - 88e use to be called Tangiers petroleum and left Morocco for Alaska!
GRH - what stock was that in?
GRH - many years ago there use to be a useful on iii forums ... you could filter on recommends/ticks. You could easily navigate to bull and bear case posts rather than having to troll through noise from both sides. LSE should look to bring that feature here.
Ok thanks for the context Keith.
"It is well documented that there are missed payzones in the GRF1 well (Atlantic Oil, 2012 SLR,PRD et al.)"
Those who drilled were incompetent and missed pay zones?
The "quote war" ... LOL
