5 weeks and a day to HorseHill planning...
A new application is on the Surrey Website for DUNSFOLD
Drill or drop are making a fuss about a couple of errors but there were so many pages and updates and a couple of old paragraphs got left in and a out dated access map.
There are no dormice, crested newts are fairly near but not right next to the site.
5 species of bat.
You can hear the Top Gear Test track from the site. It is on worked farm land. The woods around the site are somewhat neglected. It was used during WW2 as a RAF ? Camp. There are tracks and bomb shelters. There are a lot of bits of scrap in the woods. Cars, mopeds washing machines. There is also wildlife in the woods..deer , little brown birds... stuff like that ;-)
The access has been thrashed out with modified drawings. Swept path drawings for the lane and access track, showing how tankers can pass and the low loader with rig can access.
They will put temporary traffic light on the junction and a short 30mph limit.
An important point is that a planning inspector and the Secretary of State over-ruled a planning decision and in that decision they stated that the local road network could cope.
Another important point to note is that no EIA (Enviromental Impact Assessment) is required
The permission would cover everything done at HH to date.
Drill
Evaluation
Extended well test
And a side track
Then restoration ( or apply for a production licence)
And .....
And...
Itβs 100% UKOGs...
no buying out...
or delays because others canβt raise the cash... ( The initial drill is funded) ( sorry dreamers, greens, extinction rebellelionasts, )
Anyway... 5 weeks to HH planning, 5 months ( this is Surrey! ) to Dunsfold planning
