RE: Upcoming AGM12 Nov 2018 16:55
Five come to mind.
1. What the hell happened to Evander and why did the board feel the need to totally write it off on the books. I would directly challenge them on this and what was Mantashe's role as he had a one on one meeting with Cobus shortly before this happened. A total write off was very drastic - were there no buyers even at a vastly reduced price given the large reserves?
2. Why are Directors not buying shares/adding to their stakes and when they do they are peanut amounts.
3. The large discrepancies in closing prices between LSE and JSE - discussed many times on this board. Sometimes >10% difference.
4. Given the highly suppressed share price, uncertain political environment and huge discount in terms of P/E (4x earnings currently) would Cobus and the board consider a sale of the company if the right offer came in?
5. Will the dividend be resumed at H1 i.e. Jan/Feb 2019.
