This is a key step in demonstrating the significant role hydrogen has to play in meeting decarbonisation targets in the region, and realising our joint vision to become the largest dealer of hydrogen fuel cell generators to the MENA industrial and off-grid power markets.

To date, 4 pilot experiences have been completed related to the on-site implementation of this type of innovative sustainable energy generation solutions in locations without possibility of connection to the electrical grid (off-grid sites), as part of the path towards the decarbonization of its construction projects.

This makes ACCIONA the only Spanish company in the construction sector, to date, having implemented this type of H2-based zero-emission portable energy generation systems in its projects.

These results are the outcome of the close collaboration among the R&D and the Plant Machinery (Salvatore Campo Hernández, Enoc Sanz García) Departments of ACCIONA's Construcción business.
