Well I’m rather hoping something might happen here once Slade and Rae go on 21/6 - doesn’t seem to me that anyone has been doing anything to progress the existing business since the raise.

Let’s face it - Burton and Williamson have been “running” this company for the last year, by which I mean getting rid of all staff and preparing it for something else. What and when we can only guess at, but I can’t imagine the CP lumped all that cash in for nothing. Originally I thought M19, but then couldn’t figure why Williamson, a career tech investor, was brought in to Chair. So maybe we are looking at an RTO of one or more of his other ventures….

That’s true CP, but like Porky I can’t see why they didn’t attempt a placing if they knew future financing hinged on it. Going further, if financing issues did hinge on a placement then why would a responsible board continue to recruit having not done one?

Exactly Phil. 4D is a pioneer in an exciting new field of medicine with wide ranging and significant potential, but it carries equally significant pioneer risk. MB, if as an investor that risk is too high for you, then invest elsewhere or diversify your risk.

I won’t pretend to understand the science as well as some on here, but reading things like this excites me from both a human and investment perspective.

Forgive my ignorance, but is the delay simply down to an FDA Covid backlog? If so, has anyone seen anything from the FDA about how they’re dealing with their backlog, not just for us but generally?

Understood Phil and, as you say, shorting this stock seems to me to be a dangerous and potentially very expensive strategy. I suppose the harder shorters try and spread FUD, the more nervous they must be.

Thank you! So FUD is just part and parcel of any risk investment. Seems a little odd to me that anyone who has done their homework and subsequently invests with belief and conviction would worry about nefarious purveyors of FUD.

Am pretty new into this. I bought in for a host of reasons but mostly because of the tech potential across multiple use cases, 4D’s position at the vanguard of a nascent and exciting field, it’s quality leadership and it’s heavyweight collaborations. I’m a little under water at the moment but have little concern about our ability to deliver, viewing us as somewhat de-risked and understanding that small R&D pharmas are naturally cost heavy before gold is struck.

I do have one honest but I suspect ignorant question though; what is FUD?

- can’t sell in the U.K. without CTDA approval
- can sell in EU or anywhere that accepts CE, subject to any specific host jurisdiction requirements
- can’t sell in US without FDA EUA/Approval. That process can take months.
