I've known a few journalists in my career and sadly they all pretty much adhere to the "never let the truth get in the way of a good story "line.
It is also a well-used trick to write paragraphs and paragraphs of apparently well researched waffle in order to try and make your case.
You don't fool me old chap but then I have the slight advantage of knowing a little bit more about what's going on than you clearly do!
No problem Lifesab maybe I'm just old and grumpy. Certainly old. You can tell how certain individuals on this and the other site come and go and are so predictable a miraculously change their very strong opinions from one week to the next. Some of them are obviously connected to a certain well-known " journalist" . A real red herring to sew seeds of disquiet was the salt issue. We know it's a salty basin just like Williston. And hey ho that seems to be producing just fine. There are certain procedures for dealing with salty wells and CH knows this only too well. Pardon the pun.
No, we don't need any more traders. Thank you very much.
What's the point of this constant up down up down up down apart from a few spivs making a few quid here and there. What we need is serious investors with new deep pockets and we'll get them once flow.rates and infrastructure are no longer in question.
They couldn't possibly be thinking of selling at this stage. It would be a ridiculous thought they haven't begun to prove up the potential assets yet ,nothing like it. These two wells and the Kirkwood and the Williston will all be producing by year end and that's just the beginning for Zephyr.
Ah but there you go. You see Setanta I do follow the thread and the detail of comments made by any supposed large holder.. Your suggested sale price generates cash of £623,700.00. or £376,300.00 short of you'll stated outcome. Oh, and that's assuming you didn't pay anything for the shares in the first place. Really important to follow your own statements carefully, isn't it?
Setanta, despite my 70 years on this mortal coil, I pride myself that I still have clarity of thought. It was my understanding that you genuinely wished to sell your shares, although felt there was insufficient liquidity in the market to do this. On that basis, I made you a genuine offer to purchase all of your shares quantity unknown but at least 7 million at a price that reflected a small discount to the market. Now you say you won't consider selling your shares for less than 7.7p. there is no logic attached to those positions. Why on earth would I pay a 20% premium when I could pick up another 10 million shares in the market? Sorry my friend but you're just not credible and for that reason I rather doubt that you hold seven or eight million shares anyway. Foolish of me to take you seriously.
