I am not too sure we need to worry overly about Brent price when it comes to hedging. For example the Dutch TTF gas price was about €9 when HALO arranged the following hedges:
- 64% of annual sales @ €17.80 in 2020
- 24% of annual sales @ €17.63 in 2021

Hopefully RRE can calm down the over-reaction and selling frenzy by confirming hedging for the next couple of years in the final results.

...emphasis on the word "positioning". These are threats we still have a few weeks to get this resolved and a return to the OPEC table.

Maybe we are going to see strategic alliances as well as the usual hostile takeovers and asset sales.

Just thinking, what kind of scenario would have to happen for RRE to actually be valued at £109m? Just how bad does the market think things are going to get for RRE?

Marathon assets worthless and actually make substantial loss for how long? How much of RRE cash pile would have to be used to support oil assets? The market appears to think RRE will get $0 per barrel for a year or more. Ludicrous.

Who is able to sell thousands of shares without a TR1??

If AA want to take RRE private, by his own admission would he not have to pay circa £800m x 0.7 (ish)

If this spat isn't resolved quickly there will be no point in having OPEC. Their future meetings will be cancelled. It will be a free for all.

Well it will certainly be interesting to hear his thoughts today. Hopefully he can give market confidence the company can survive and that they have a plan to mitigate any loss of income.

At the end of February, Rockrose was debt-free with net cash of £272.1 million (equivalent to £20.75 per share) of which £39.5 million was restricted. Final results for 2019 are expected to be published the week beginning 23rd March 2020.

.....I am surprised there was no mention of the current oil price in this update. I see other producers have today released RNS outlining how they will deal with the low oil price. We have to assume this will be dealt with in the final results in a couple of weeks time.

gg19 SQZ are only 7% down. I can see why you are skeptical.

What we need to watch very carefully is oil output v's consumption. If Saudi/Russia do follow through with their threat to pump even more oil into a low consumption environment the oil price will obviously collapse to circa $3 per barrel once we reach a point where there is nowhere to store the oil.

Buying RRE shares is RREVID-20...no cure for that !!

I sat on the tube Wednesday night with hand gel in my hand and face covered over. I kid you not a woman opposite me was scraping the contents of her nose with her finger and eating it. You then realise you are fighting a lost cause.

I'm not too sure on the global depression. Everyone I talk to are just carrying on as normal. If you are going to get the virus so be it sort of thing. I've been using hand gel and wiping down surfaces for a couple of weeks, today i have a cold and sore throat which I have probably picked up from trips to London. I could have COVID-19 . The point is, it doesn't matter how clean you are you will still get infected unless you self isolate your entire household for weeks.

Rockrose can survive if oil went to US$20-$25. They have huge cash reserves so they aren't going bust anytime soon. The decom liabilities may be an issue for them at this low income, but personally I cannot see US$20-$25 a barrel lasting too long if it does indeed get that low.

Fk it, I have bought £10k worth this could be the bottom for RRE and a de-list could come anytime. Although the current PoO may affect any deals on the horizon. I think i'll wait until April to buy more.

Yep 1750 that is why i don't think we can predict the bottom or how long the bottom will last. China is reporting fewer cases so we can only hope for the best. See where we are in 4 weeks. I think I shall still be topping up the ISA in April, 2000 shares would be nice !!
