Yes completely agree jimmy. If you read the court transcript it is clear Taqa's survival perhaps depends on a successful Brae project. They are desperate and those executives slating RRE are trying to save their own skin. This should benefit RRE as Taqa will put the extra mile into Brae, maximising profits and lengthening its life. The pressure is on Taqa to deliver now !!

You could buy RRE for effectively peanuts then use their cash flow and reserves to borrow/spend $1bn+ on acquisitions.

The financials are a bit more complex that that obviously with CAPEX etc but you get the drift.

Yes. You could buy RRE for £300m say, you get £260 odd mill cash in the bank in return and then repay the £40m in 2-3 months !! They also have £45m restricted cash in the bank earning interest.

RRE must be making about £16m a month !
