The problem for PXC is that a huge storm is brewing. US interest rates could hit 5%. Recession. All designed to curb inflation. So you ask yourself, what happens to copper price? will bond buyers still want in? Just how bad is it going to get? There just doesn't appear to be any likely good news on the near term horizon. Production put back to 2024 tells you something maybe.

Hopefully today's burst of media coverage relating to the bond sale will get PXC a few more admirers and more topping up....;o))

I wonder if the bond buyers will want additional drills before committing their cash.

It is a shame PXC aren't able to attack Navarre Creek this summer as they said they would. The prospect of a huge Gold deposit would have supported investor interest. Let us hope this permit lands sooner rather than later.

US markets have sold off again Copper holding up though. Hopefully it stays above $3.6.

Regarding Ukraine if Russia can take a lot of territory in the east they will claim this as a victory and they’ve secured their objective. Russia will need some leverage to play against lifting sanctions. Maybe this is when they hand stolen territories back to Ukraine. The sanctions are really starting to hurt Russia.

It is becoming difficult to stay positive with PXC. They regurgitate the same old info and we are all waiting for something fresh and explosive to happen. The run up to 80p last year didn't happen until mid-July through August so we live in hope. Will they get the cash they need?!?!?!?!?

IMO The main data to keep track on is recession data. No recession or a minor dip and we could see the bottom of the markets sell off. LME metal warehouse stocks are really low maybe Copper will bounce hard.

Has anyone explored the new Fraud Act 2020 ? Not had a chance to look into this or any legal stance we may have but I saw this mentioned on another board relating to a company going into administration. Just wondered if anyone has had any proper legal advice ?

Volume ticking up. We should be above 40p before too long. Only 3 days of Q2 remaining so we could get an update this week. We are hanging in there aren't we !! ...;o)))

Whilst in news limbo, PXC share price appears to be tracking the copper price. Copper stocks are still low and with electrification full steam ahead we SHOULD be ok for a strong copper price long term. Only 7 trading days left this quarter.

A big move in the copper markets yesterday could be the start of a prolonged increase in value for the metal. Fingers crossed ……;0))

Nice bounce off 4.7p support. Looking at a break of 5.3p and then a push onto 6p. That's the plan anyway !...;o))

Mello will help but the investment decision will likely boil down to two questions , have you got a permit? Have you got finance? It could be a hard sell for Donald Pond.

..is what we need. News flow that PXC is making progress towards income next year and beyond. The economic report is due in the next week or so, which it is vital they deliver.

Empire Open-Pit copper oxide feasibility study due anytime now. Before end of June anyway. Should be an interesting read. Copper up 17.5% and more resource found last summer so increased M&I. Should get us some decent financial coverage. Donald Pond the new PR guy will be doing his thing too with investor presentations.

50p paid. DXY down, VIX down, Cu up . 17.5% above PEA $3.6 base case. Looking good...;o)))

49p paid. 300,000 volume. Looking better !! 35% uplift to get back to where we were a few weeks back.
