You can see the investment shift to copper slowing taking hold. Just needs patience IMO and build your positions now whilst prices are low.

Copper trying to break out and is holding ground. Might be $4+ by xmas. 29p paid. Lets be positive !!!...;o)))

With oil & gas shares flying due to high gas and oil prices attention is elsewhere ,but eventually you would think O&G shares will be falling as demand reduces and supply increases. Maybe that's the time for the copper rush?

PXC will be updating the market soon but I don’t believe anything too much will be divulged. The accounts for end June need reporting. I have a gut feeling finance and permit news is months away. 6 months ? At least if we get a permit without finance the asset can be sold at a premium and we get our money back !!

Volume ticking up and SP with it. 33.5p next stop then if we clear that we head to 40p IMO...;o))

Copper at $3.7. A bit of a relief to see us above the $3.60 used in PXC calculations. We shall hopefully be back into the $4 range before too long. Everything crossed !!

Considering the strength of the dollar I don't think copper has actually devalued much in real terms. China & US needs so much copper it can only bode well for us. We just need to get to production then anything can happen. M&A activity is starting to build as majors look to build inventories. I can see the SP really kicking on at some point. A copper grabbing frenzy !!...;o)))

Good points Stanley. $400b of that package is allocated to climate and energy measures. Copper production in Idaho USA has been given a huge boost !! …..;0)

Now the company are looking at production of all metals at once. The economics of that would be amazing. Is this going to delay funding and permitting until the outcome of testing is finalised? New feasibility, new plans, new construction design, delay to financing, increased traffic flow, revised permit application?

UK, US & EU have energy security legislation that binds in electrification. China is ahead of us in that regard. Renewable energy is the only way forward and that involves amongst other things copper. Batteries can be recycled.

3.8p looks like quite a testy level. Lets see how this unfolds.

SP look fruity. Half the daily volume already 9:15am.

My prediction is a SP of 50p by year end, based on further company updates and a recovery of copper price to $4.

PS - don't blame me if the SP crashes !

I think the current philosophy that recession means low copper price will have to decouple at some point. No matter what the economy does from inflation or what ever, the transition to electrification will power on. The UK is set to launch an Energy Security Bill which will intensify electricity use and therefore Copper use. Net Zero by 2050. 600,000 electric heat pumps per year by 2028. The US will follow suit perfect for PXC. Copper miners and as Trek has pointed out royalty owners will be at a premium. I also note that Sizewell C nuclear power plant has been given the go ahead. The UK uses about 60% gas for electricity, Sizewell C will provide 7% of UK demand.

Copper having a nice run up. Currently $3.54. All good to go with the change in sentiment....;o))

Another copper exploration company I have a small investment in is Arc Minerals ARCM. They are years behind PXC and have acreage in Africa so higher risk. Their M/C is £40m so shows how under valued PXC is.
