One explanation for this rise could be that "long term holders" actually sold out on the drop (quietly) and are now having to buy back in quickly to avoid missing out. A large pull back may not happen. PXC should be in the 60p's at least with funding sorted may be higher ?!?! I would think any pull back will be bought into. DYOR.

PXC are about to announce they have secured funding. It's an open secret. They are looking at processing Copper, Silver, Gold et al all at the same time so a 10 year FCF turns into a 5 year FCF, the sums of cash will be huge. Today they start exploration at Red Star where there is a huge EM survey anomaly. This will be FCF for years say 5-10. Then next year they explore Navarre Creek which is a potential world class carlin type gold deposit. The EM survey results were very promising and the asset is being likened to Betze Post. There is nothing in the current market cap for any metals what so ever. NONE.

Plus we are heading into a PM squeeze bubble type scenario. I can see a SP in the £'s rather soon IMO. DYOR.

I see the EU are waging war on O&G company profits so the likes of KIST & SQZ are turning negative. With economies turning negative too where do you put your cash? I can see a real squeeze on electrification PMs and miners. Money has to go somewhere right?!?! Maybe a bubble will be created for us?

Copper and Silver are holding up pretty well considering. Fed hikes must be priced in by now surely?

40p should be pretty straight forward, the sp dropped very quickly so there aren't too may resistance/support lines.

There can't be too many obvious re-rate opportunities out there like PXC. Funding news in two weeks. a speedy permit process would be the icing on the cake !!

The bond book is closing, they have secured the necessary funds with a commitment for the rest of the cash on issue of a permit. BoD are very confident.

The sell off started in April to be fair. It could be Marlborough Nano-Cap Fund have redemptions to fill. They did have 6.19% maybe a TR1 would confirm a reduced position. Just guessing .

I think finance news could be that PXC have secured say $5m-$10m or what ever to place orders for long lead items, the bond buyers will have made a commitment to buy the remaining say $50m on possession of a permit. Addition bonds could be sold post permit to others but probably on worse terms (for the bond buyer) than the original terms.

Yes great news that PXC have secured enough funds for now. That news landing in 3 weeks time will surely tick the SP up a few notches. Time to hoover up cheap stock ?!?!?!

In times of uncertainty, invest in certainty. The world needs a lot of copper, we know that !

Maybe this is the transition of investment into metals needed for electrification we have been waiting for? Time will tell.
