The investment case at this stage is all down to trust in the BoD isn't it? That is why the SP is yet to really take off IMO. Once we have the cash and a permit it no longer becomes a story, it becomes reality. It's a leap of faith.

Well IMO the open pit is going to be worth about £1/sh + (looks like the copper price could go up a fair % from $4.74) so I guess it depends what the exploration brings this summer. IMO £1/sh is conservative when you add up all the parts:
- Empire Open Pit
- Red Star
- Navarre Creek - Multi-million ounce Gold ?
- Cobalt assets
- Horse shoe/Red knob
- Deep sulphides
- Porphyry Molybdenum monster
- £££ Dividends

We just need the de-risk finance/permit news and market to notice us...;o))

Nice to be starting potentially the most transformative quarter in the company history at 58p/sh MC £75m. I am going to stick my neck out and say end of Q2 the SP will be above £1/sh. End of Q4 above £1.50/sh. So much going on this summer it should be an exciting 3 months.....;o))

Be interesting to see what the US open brings us today. Volume on PXCLY has been dire since the inception . Hopefully as the asset de-risks we might see more interest state side.

Finance news is a bit of a relief chaps. All looking solid from here. Long duration production, possibly decades from several assets , plus the potential Porphyry system somewhere (possibly under the existing Empire mine workings). Dividends galore, holiday lodge in Mackay. I have found my plot. Yee Ha...;o)))

Wow, this one moves quick. Agree Trek a bounce off 70p's likely. I see £1.50 range ++ by summer. Navarre Creek drilling should add a bit of icing on the cake ....;o)))

Up 11% on 144k volume. Imagine if we get some traction and proper volume...;o))

Navarre Creek is truly mouth watering. Multi-million ounce gold play with gold at $1900/oz....;o))

If you consider that the current M/C is supported by the initial silver find at Red Star, virtually the whole resource is not priced in yet. Empire open pit will be worth over £1/sh on it's own IMO.

approaching 500k shares traded in an hour is huge volume for PXC. If we can break 54p we could be heading into the 60p's. A break and hold above 62p would be very nice..;o))) 1.50/sh near term target DYOR.

Yes great news. I would imagine the company would need to finance some of the cost from cash but may be wrong. Initially loan to cash was stated as a 80:20 ratio. They can now order long lead items.

The open pit was valued at 80p with copper at $4.25. This should be safe enough and could possibly go above $5. Plus they discovered more PM's to add to the 58,183 tonnes of copper.

"Our post-tax project NPV of $135 million is based on a copper price of $4.25/lb and indicates a fair value for the stock of 80p per share." $4.75 copper, pre-tax NPV $198.7, Post tax NPV $181.1. I think Empire open pit will be valued above £1/sh.

An RNS could land anytime and you can sense the anticipation. Volume has stopped as we hold our breath. The news had better be fking worth it !!...lols

There was a rumour that the city boys were betting on a placing so were selling shares in anticipation of that, hence the SP drop. Maybe this is a counter to that where a funder has committed to proving the cash and will clarify the terms subject to certain conditions like permitting etc.
