Wessex Exploration PLC was the operator and holder of the remaining 70% interest. On 28 August 2013, an application by Global on a 100% basis was submitted to the French authorities - to renew approximately 4,500 square kilometres (50% of the former permit area) of the permit for a term of five years was submitted to the French authorities. If such renewal is granted, Global would be Operator and, in principal, would assign a 50% equity interest in the permit to Wessex Exploration. It is anticipated that the renewal process may take several months. "

Its a single trader IMO, the numbers are just too similar. This HALO deal is going to take time to complete, we will now need to see what BCP want to do with SC54a. Plus Cochran isn't a one trick pony, he will have other assets up his sleeve. He has the backing of the board and major share holders. Sit and hold IMO.

Nido were granted SC54a extension on 5th September so only 3 weeks ago. No negotiations for the deal for a farm in could have started until then surely. Plus Nido were the subject of a takeover in the mean time. So what is all this rubbish about having months to get this sorted. These characters never appear on LSE with pumping accusations when the sp is rising !! They could be behind a pump and short exercise, just filter them IMO

This is the problem with AIM. It is all too easy to manipulate the sp. These characters never appear on LSE boards when the sp is rising they appear when the selling starts and the sp is on a downward trend. It is all a game and these characters are probably at the centre of it. As you say RB they are probably not even resident in the UK.

Put them on filter mate. These pair appeared on here in March when the AGM vote was happening. They have an agenda so don't waste your time. I think they are Milroy crew.

Nido have issued an RNS relating to the extension but have not updated their web site. Nido are looking to farm down too. "The Company is also continuing to seek farm-out and/or divestment opportunities in relation to the asset. The Joint Venture recently received approval from the DOE for an extension of Sub-phase 6 for 12 months with Sub-Phase 6 now expiring on 4 August 2014." I wonder if Nido are in discussions with someone hence no updated website.

Wessex aren't buying into anyone. Wessex are looking to farm into SC54a which Nido are the operator. The licence ran out in August so we are looking for an update from Nido as operator about the new license extension/terms, are we not?!?!
