Following all the up/down good/bad chat with interest . Question is, with 2 big mining companies beside us and one is £4B and the other £27B why is one nearly 7 times bigger, is it simply the mining layout? and if so which one are we closest to in size/capacity and value as that would make a huge difference come any possible JV day???

@ 1p my stock would go +ve so hoping it does soon and then some.

Not looking to be greedy but £1= good, £2=happy, £4= delerious and into the sunset I go either by car/plane/boat :-)

£50m seems massively too low given the latest RNS

In accordance with the FCA's Disclosure Guidance and Transparency Rules, as at 30 April 2026, the Company's issued share capital consists of 2,215,869,637 Ordinary Shares of £0.001, each with one voting right. The Company does not hold any Ordinary Shares in treasury. Therefore, the total number of voting rights in the Company 2,215,869,637.

The above figure of 2,215,869,637 should be used by shareholders in the Company as the denominator for the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in, the share capital of the Company under the Financial Conduct Authority's Disclosure Guidance and Transparency Rules.

At todays price comes out just shy of £10M so an SP of 2.5p hits your £50M, unless my maths or understanding is wrong.

If drilling proves (hopefully) as good as soil samples I see no reason why the wouldn't go into the £'s.

Forgot to mention I do have CTY in my pot and have had for about 7 years :-)

All very valid Opti, however I am aware of the risks of investing in a single company who can drop divs, also I am invested to 10% of pot so whist not tragic is still a chunk to risk. My main moan isn't so much the drop in divs which I can cover by restructuring my spending, it's more about the supposed green future and should have been a safe bet. To see the SP drop due to all matter of reasons just proves to a point that the grass isn't always green. Yes the divs are/were great and that is what lured me in having done a bit of due diligence. If I kept my previous funds that I used to fund this then after the div cut parallel I would have been no different, so yes I am peeved by the cut but it's the sheer drop in SP that annoys me. I haven't shafted myself, I'm shafted by the management of the company, Oh and a government who change the rules at a whim to suit their needs i.e. my solar panel increase going up by CPI rather the RPI to which I have a signed and agreed contract with the government ???

Obviously missed the last RNS which I have just read. Unless this SP bounces back by the bucket load i am shafted, 40% down on investment and now they are reducing divs by 50% my drawdown has taken a nose dive. I invested in this as the divs were excellent and allowed me to increase my drawdown and live a bit better, now I need to seriously review it all as this has knocked me sideways. God knows where this is going but as soon as I can afford to I will likely be out. Not a happy bunny in the slightest and think this board is poor.

Thanks for clarifying Cebo, bit more comforted and as said holding. Just hope all the TE negativity is just BS and hopefully this will start to come good soon as at my age I can't wait years and years :-).

Cheers Ollycromwell, somewhat comforting and absolutely holding . Would be nice though to see some positive movements to give some confidence especially as we see a lot of negative comments about the CEO?

Also, around 6.6mil shares bought and a few hundred thousand sold. Have never seen another stock do this, need someone who knows why and explaing to the uninitiated please.

Just got the notification and voted, in my zero intelligence for mergers I went with my gut in that surely a merger to a bigger fund should be good in the long run. Happy to say that inc Divs I am around 49% up on investment so very happy with the company. My one and only minor gripe is that I read the proposal where it states

" Both companies pay dividends above the average yield of the AIC’s UK Equity Income sector. The Board believes there should be no reduction in dividend income for shareholders in either Shires or AEI. The enlarged Company will continue AEI’s commitment to a progressive dividend policy, aiming for a dividend increase each year. For the year ended 30 September 2025, the Company paid dividends quarterly totalling 23p per Share in aggregate and for the current year, ending 30 September 2026, the Company is expected to pay not less than 23.1p per share in aggregate, paid quarterly. The Board of the

enlarged Company will look to maintain its AIC Dividend Hero status and extend its track record to 26 consecutive years of dividend growth."

Now you cannot argue that it does increase divs BUT the last 13 divs had 11 @ 5.7, 1@5.8 and 1@5.9. If I look at another of mine CTY they consistently raise for each quarter so ex 5.1,5.1.5.1,5.1,5.2,5.2 etc. That to me is consistent div increases NOT 2 in 13 quarters, just seems a bit disingenuous to me.

Hopefully the merger will look to raise by a more consistent figure.

Cheers for pointing thee out, the cancelled one wasn't there when I looked but has the same time??? 10m & 25M shares seem bizarre as never seen these sizes and I generally check daily. WTF is going on???

Can someone please explain 5M shares bought at 03p today ??? how can that happen and although it is unknown if it's buy/sell I doubt it's sell (why would you), so if bought at 0.3p how is that allowed as if you sell at 0.6p you double your money. Totally confused by all what's happening here.

More solar farms but a significant drop in £/Mw down from £70 to £65, more solar should be good for the SP but the drop in price will surely dent bottom end. Not sure what it means for us so any "experts" opinions greatfully appreciated.
