The AGM document says "The Articles include a discount management provision requiring a Discontinuation Resolution to be proposed to Shareholders if, in any financial year of the Company, the Ordinary Shares have traded, on average over that year, at a discount in excess of ten per cent. to the Net Asset Value per Ordinary Share." Over the course of the financial year (1 April 2024 to 31 March 2025), the Ordinary Shares traded

at an average discount of approximately 27 per cent. to the Net Asset Value per Ordinary Share. Accordingly, the Board is required to propose a special resolution at this year’s AGM so it looks like a forced decision based on performance.

Just read the AGM and it seems it's due to high discount 27% so if the vote is to dissolve then 4 months to come up with any options. Is anyone seriously concerned as I see a few of you have held shares for a while whilst I am 2 days old. :-) Cheers

Did some reviewing on this company before investing a not inconsiderable portion of my sipp on a few buy/hold reviews so not sure who is recommending sell?, can someone please enlighten me on the AGM comment on discontinuation which I didn't see anything of when reviewing. Is there a distinct possibility of this and why are they suggesting it? it may make me rethink my investment.

Not sure where you see 6.25 but not questioning it. I am however disappointed as the last 4 years have seen a 0.1p increase, this time 0.05p which is hardly worth it, it makes me think they have increased by a tiny amount so they can say they always increase divs? given the very poor SP I guess they can't pay out much more but I am thinking this is poor.

I did find this as well but it doesn't say much about how we think he might turn this crap around. I'm fortunate to only have invested a relatively small amount but still lost around 95.5% as bought around 8pps. Let's see what he can do but I'm unlikely put to put more into a still sinking ship.

Jesus, I watch this with trepidation every time I check the SP, is there nothing happening in the world that might see this go in the right direction? Just as well the divs are holding up as I was break even before this week :-(

I enjoy reading this thread and with hope it will help me try to make my mind up as I am not in any way knowledgeable

enough to understand markets. I find the information very useful but still unsure about what to do if anything. What I can say is that currently I am down nearly 30% on investment as overtime I bought high (avg £3.21), however, if I add in my dividends I am less than 1% down, so I guess I am happy as I rely on dividends to help fund retirement, my main issue is the apparent slow return on SP compared to my other funds over similar periods with 2 totals being around 48% (inc divs) up since 2019/2020. Fortunately at present I do not need to worry about SP as I do not need to cash in shares due to the divs but if they were to drop it would severely affect my drawdown and maybe change my mind. I wonder if I should put more in to this as the SP is still low but am already far too overinvested to risk more. If I read you all correctly the divs are safe for now and Sat is looking to move more into growth which will help SP so I am kind of stuck with it in the hope the SP recovers bigstyle to ease my concerns.

Actually just looked at yesterdays trades and it's a bit more than this suggests, still don't know though why some trades are for pennies.

Hi knowledgeable people, can someone explain why recently all I seem to see is very small buy/sells and a price that seems to just go 0.35/0.4/0.35/0.4/0.35/0.4? why would you buy/sell shares for around £1? doesn't seem to make sense.

My problem is a dividend cut would be disastrous for me as it forms a large part of my pension drawdown, if it's cut then the chance of a rise in SP won't offset the drop so I'd have to sell shares at below purchase price so a double whammy. I need the div to at least stay and hope the SP recovers over time, happy to see a reduction in China as I cannot see it recovering any time soon and MK was sure it would??? A good move for him to stand down but lets hope the new direction works (fingers crossed)

Strange as it was the only site I was looking at and recall them? saying the shares could hit £1, it appeared to be based on solid info. So not sure what site it was as it's the only name that comes to mind .

having been ****ed over by the motley fool pump and dump i am well down but fortunately didn't invest a lot, that said this seems to be a mickey mouse outfit who have no idea how to make money or keep their investors informed. will not put another penny in or draw out but see how it goes either way. seriously ****ed off.

I think that is an excellent letter and if it doesn't get a full and honest response then I think we can all read into that, unfortunately I am using this (like many) for a very large part of my income and was prepared to withdraw the lot when a modest £10k down but was desparately hoping for a turn around, not through greed but a simple mathmatical return to investment ratio made it very attractive to me, I am now suffering a 34% drop in my investment and am basically caught between a rock and a hard place, I have 1 fund in profit (for now) and the rest between 3-13% down so this is by far and away the worst performing stock, personally I think it's time for Kearley to stand down or be stood down as I don't see him turning this around anytime soon.

My question is: If MK is doing so badly WTF are the directors doing? they are there to ensure the investment is doing what it signed up for yet we see/hear nothing from them. Are they simply happy to take their cut regardless or what? answers on a chat post please :-)

Like you Legsofman I am massively down on a six figure investment, I have no idea where this will end and am actually coming out of retirement for a year so I can try and recoup some losses by not using my dividends as income, so f...ed off with this fund but have to ride it out in the hope something can turn it round, currently over 30% down on investment notwithstanding dividends, that said, all of my investments are going the wrong way it's just this one is hitting hardest. Not sure how the directors are viewing it but silence is speaking volumes.

Have to agree, held these since June 2019 and currently nearly 29% down, I don't see or hear anything that gives me any confidence of a climb, have no idea where this will end. :-(
